Airway Animal Clinic

We have been going there for 6 years and love them. The front staff is so nice and the other helpers are too. The doctors are great and usually help my dogs and cats each time. Beware of the wait if you go as a walk-in, but at least a pet can be seen that day no matter what. I just wish my own doctors office was as nice as Airwyay's is!! more

I have used this clinic off and on over the years, and my experiences have been positive all around. Granted, the facility is small and the waiting area is somewhat outdated, but the staff is great. In 1999 I had a beloved cat that had managed to sneak out the door and he drank anti-freeze. The staff cared for him for 5 long, anxious days. Some of the staff was coming into the clinic in the middle of the night just to check on his progress, the Dr's called me at least 4 times a day to keep me updated. They went above and beyond their requirements. Unfortunately, my cats kidneys failed and he passed away, but even then the staff was caring and compassionate. I even received a sympathy card in the mail from the vet that had been caring for my cat. more

I really like taking our pets to this vet clinic. They are very thoughtful and caring with the animals and know what they are doing. They will also work with you on payment plans for things that are unexpected and expensive. This is a very small clinic, and when you walk in the first thing you'll notice is that it is not top of the line as far as looks. But this also dosen't make you think you're overpaying for your services. They are reasonably priced and don't gouge you for their products and services. We have been using this vet over the years and have gone through several pets here. We have brought both cats and dogs here with great pleasure. PROS: Very caring and compationate. CONS: Looks a bit run down inside. more

Our family has always gone to the Airway Animal Clinic. They offer the best quality of care in Dayton for your pets. Dr Pumpelly (who has retired) took care of my parents dogs for many years. They show such great compassion and love to all of their 'guests'. They offer surgery and boarding and the usual vetinary services. Why go anywhere else when you have such an outstanding vet right here! more

You can tell by the crowded waiting room this is a great place. Don't let the crowd worry you -- just call ahead for an appt. The vets and helpers are fantastic. PROS: The vets don't rush you in and out. CONS: Small place -- there is a church behind for additional parking. more

We have lived in Dayton many years and have had many dogs in our lifetime. We've always taken our dogs to the Airway Animal Clinic. Dr. Pumpelly was there for years and always gave us outstanding care. His compassion and warmth put the pets at ease (and their owners too). Now his won William is there along with other vets. The staff is wonderful as well. They do a wonderful business, evident by the amount of cars there. Word of mouth brings them in from all over. more
