I found myself strolling around downtown Davis and came upon Aioli Bodega Espanola, a Spanish restaurant with some really fantastic flavors and excellent customer service. When I came in, I was promptly greeted by the Parisian Manager, Ludovic, who set me up at the bar with a nice foreign lager to wet my summer throat. He was very charismatic and beautiful women and men strolled in over the course of my lager to pay him homage. As soon as I finished my cold drink, Maria, my server, seated me and I set forth to treat myself to several mouth-watering dishes I absolutely loved. She did not bother me every two minutes, as some servers do, but when I wanted my check, she was very attentive and quickly brought it over to me. Also, the copper and brass work here is something out of this world. You are greeted by a huge ancient bronze statue and there are huge copper bulls, and copper bars, and copper lamps and tables, mixed in with abstract art from another artist. Aioli's is an island of sophistication in a town full of otherwise bland food establishments. I highly recommend eating here, if not for the food and service, then for decor alone.
Pros: Great Food and Customer Service
Cons: Zero
