Review content:
Having previously eaten with some friends at Aioli's in Midtown Sacramento, we were not suprised to find that Aioli's in Davis was equally delicious. This time my boyfriend and I shared the Paella Valenciana (serves 2). This yummy dish has saffron rice with shrimp, seafood & chicken & pork sparerib all mixed into one sensational heaping serving. Morris was our server and recommended yet another exceptional red wine that we had never heard of or tried. It went perfectly with the Paella. My boyfriend and I split the the El Borracho for dessert, a sponge cake layered with fresh fruit & pastry cream, imbibed with malaga wine, along with Chocolate (naturally) con Accento Frances, a chocolate mousse and berries. Even the coffee was exceptional! Apparently, the owner of Aioli's also owns The Grand Wine Bar in midtown and so we are eager to try this place next!!!!
Pros: Superb food, wine, and desserts!
Cons: There is not one on every corner in every neighborhood.
