Tariq was one of the nicest and professional realtors I have worked with. The process to get our apartment was relatively smooth and easy due to him. He argued our case to the landlord and made sure we got our dream home. Whenever I have had a question or concern he quickly got back to me with answers. He was such a pleasure to work with and I won’t hesitate to work with him again! more

NO STARS!! NEGATIVE STARS!!! Aim Realty is TERRIBLE!! And Tariq is a rude jerk! I called enquiring about an apartment and was yelled at! The google map listing was wrong and when I questioned him as to where the apartment was exactly, he berated me for trusting google map and not him. What!? I don't even know this guy. When I realized google map's mistake I corrected myself by saying, ""you're right"". ""Yeah, I know I'm right!"" he replied. I told him, I didn't like his tone of voice he said, ""I don't like your tone of voice!"" Horrible customer service and no social skills. There are plenty of realty companies out there. I advise you to look somewhere else. more

NO STARS. Tariq is a thief. By fraudulently getting 1350.00 from my son, he vanished. Only by calling the owner of the building he was trying to rent did I get him to respond, within minutes actually. He then said how sorry, mistake bla bla bla, gave my kid a check for the return of his money, and guess what, its NO GOOD. His own bank (CHASE) told us looking at his account that we should notify police. What a scummer, stealing kids money. Hope he rots in hell, 1350.00 is enough to go to jail, and I will be relentless in the pursuit of putting him there, if he makes it. more

Tariq is very accommodating regarding time schedules, and in comparison to other realtors actually calls you back for follow-up. He doesn't rush you off the property, is good for casual conversation, and lets the apartments sell themselves. He doesn't try to sell you an apartment that doesn't fit what you're looking for. \r \r He showed me a property I liked on Saturday and I signed a lease on Monday. \r \r Good deal! Thanks Tariq! I have used this company in the past and no gimmicks and no games. There are tons of wanna-be brokers in NYC, this company is the real deal. Decent apartments in very nice areas. I was able to move into the apartment I really still live in and enjoy however the service and disrespect I experienced was completely uncalled for. My roommates and I are students and our parents are our guarantors. Our realtor treated us like children and tried to change the agreement the day before we had to pay him and threatened to give the apartment to someone else. He belittled and insulted us and raised his voice when we denied to agree to pay an additional security deposit when I had already signed what we should be paying for. At the lease signing after a night of yelling and phone tag he was condescending and I had to bite my tongue so I could sign the lease and get it over with. I was looking for an apartment in Brooklyn close to the A subway line, ideally in Bed/Stuy. I got in touch with several real estate agencies, not all of them particularly reliable, unfortunately. My experience with Aim Realty Services, on the other hand, has been very positive: Tariq was prompt in returning my calls, and understood my needs very well. We clearly understood each other. An advantage of working with Aim Realty is that Tariq knows the neighborhood very well, and therefore he may be able to show you apartments that are not on the market yet. That was my case: I liked the apartment, and since I got it that same day, Tariq offered me a good deal on the broker fee: one month rent instead of 10%. All the paperwork was done very quickly, and in the end I got the apartment I was looking for, and at a good price (based on other apartments I saw in the same neighborhood).\r I would recommend Aim Realty Services to other people looking for an apartment in Bed/Stuy. more

I agree with comment 3! I usually do not write comments either but I did specifically look at an apartment with Tariq. My boyfriend and I thought he was great! He was personable and listened to what you wanted and did not want in an apartment. I could absolutely never see him cursing someone out-he is very professional. Seems like the person in comment 1 obviously did not get the apartment for someother reason and decided to take it out on someone. We ended up signing the lease to our apartment- that we LOVE and could not be happier. I would highly tell my friends about AIM Realty and my experience and already have. more

I don't normally leave comments but having read comment #1, I felt I had to get my two cents out there. I saw a few apartments with Tariq and found him to be professional and courteous. The standard of apartments he showed me was high and the properties were priced fairly. In the end, I rented through another broker - that he introduced me to - when I decided to look in a different neighborhood. I've never used a broker or reality company before, and have always done most of the legwork of finding an apartment myself. However I was scheduled to move out of my apartment in 48 hours this past november, and had to find something immediately. \r \r Not only was I able to look at three apartments the day I went into the office, (found an apartment that was clean, modern and renovated with a lovely landlord), they really helped me get all my paperwork through within the 48 hour time frame even though it was such a quick turnaround.\r \r The staff was great and friendly and really helped me in a pinch. I would definitely recommend them! more

I had the worst experience with this company, particularly with an agent named Tariq. I was cursed and screamed at on the phone when calling to check on a unit's status. I would HIGHLY recommend finding someone else to work with. I read some bad reviews about this company and now I have one as well. Not recommended at all!
