Affordable Appliance Repair

This company is outstanding and exceeds expectations! Our refrigerator went out and they were contacted to come out to assess the problem. They gave an estimated arrival time of 9am-11am. They arrived at 8:45am! The problem was a bad circuit board on the refrigerator. The repairman said that he would see if he could get a replacement today. He returned with the part around 12:30pm. The part that was provided to him was not programming, so they had to submit a request for another part. They were back out at our house with the second part by 3:30pm! The refrigerator was fixed without incident. Both repairmen that were dispatched were extremely professional and friendly. These are definitely the group that I would contact for any appliance issue......I STRONGLY recommend them! more

I am very happy with affordable appliance repair.I called them on saturday becouse my refrigerator stoped working.The repair man came over the same day and fix my fridge in 45 min.Hedid very good jobe.and i will use them again if i need any appliances to be repaired. Pros: null Cons: null more

DONT USE THIS COMPANY. Very untrustworthy. There website indicates that and I qoute"Call us today at (916) 638-2781 for a free estimate and to learn more about our washer and dryer repairs." In which I did. I informed there receptionist of the error code I was receiving on my washer.The receptionist stated a repair guy need to see the washer. A repair man can view the washer and that is about all he did ...he called the receptionist and read him the same code that I have read him.He then went on to state that I needed a motor and a sensor and the total was going to be close to $400.00. Its unclear to me why the receptionist did not tell me the same thing over the phone and save me $45.00 because all he did was come out and read him the same code I did. Come to find out after having a professional company come out. That problem occured from too much soap and they unplugged the washer for 2 mintues then pluggeg it back and its worked great since then. Not to mention they did not even charge me.. more

I don't know why they got such a horrible review. The guy who came out didn't speak much English, this is true but, he fixed my refrigerator with no problem. I was very satisfied with the price and fast service. I will use this company again and would recommend them to my friends and family. more

I called them out to repair my icemaker, which was making ice. I clearly stated it is making ice but not dispensing the ice. The tech arrived and smelled like he had just smoked 10 packs of cigarettes, and spoke very little English or was not very friendly hard to say. I showed him the problem even pointed to the part I thought it was. After about 4 min he said he was going to replace the icemaker. I told him but it is making ice, he insisted that that was the problem so fell for it. A week later he was back and installed the new ice maker, I was not home at the time and had some one there to meet him When I arrived home from work and tested the dispenser sure enough it still would not dispense. He also left the inside of my freezer filthy with handprints everywhere. I called back and was told that the tech would need to come back out and take another look. So I set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment I received a call from the office saying the tech would order the ice bucket as that is the problem, I told the girl on the other end of the phone that that was not the problem and the tech really should come out, she agreed and said he would be there between 4 & 7 well I waited and no one ever showed up. I received a phone call at 7:04 saying he was there but no one was home, Oddly enough my partner and I were home and sitting four feet away from the front door watching TV no one rang or knocked. Please beware this company is a scam and will sell you parts you do not need. I have also reported them to the dept of consumer affairs and appliance repair institute I hope they ordered the ice bucket and it can’t be returned. I had another company come out and fix the problem the same day no parts needed more
