Best laser hair removal in Tampa Bay area 11/17/2008

I highly recommend Karen. She is very professional, knows her industry, speedy and is more than accommodating with schedules. My results from laser hair removal on the face have been amazing. It took about 11 sessions (asian face) and a few follow-up spot treatments of electro. Pros: great service, wonderful results, a pleasure to be a client Cons: no hotdog vendors out front more

If you're looking for the best permanent make-up artist, look no further!! 10/4/2008

I was referred to Karen by a friend for permanent eyeliner. She made my visit very enjoyable and an easy process. The work is the best around and I will definitely go back to Karen in the future. It turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it and with little pain. I would recommend her to anyone! more

Thrilled with this laser hair removal and permanent cosmetic provider 6/8/2008

Service was exceptional. I was treated like I was at a 5 star resort. You get more then you expect. I did the eyebrow tattoo and lip liner, and laser hair removal treatments for facial hair. I had checked out a few shops in Tampa and St. Pete because I knew this was going to be a fairly long commitment with all I wanted to get done. The prices were much better and I am so happy with the results. I was a little worried to get these things done at a smaller shop w/out all the fancy trappings and building but I think I got A+ quality work. I'll be back in future for sure! Wanted hair removed left with Red Bum 5/21/2008

I went in wanting to get hair removed from my bum. Not only did they do this but they removed some skin as well. Leaving me with what we call in my country the dreaded ""Red Bum"" reserved only for male gigolos. The elderly host was apologetic though and offered to hook me up with her grand-daughter. I have been seeing Karen for several years for electrolysis, laser and non-permanet makeup. I wouldn't trust my face to anyone else (or my underarms, legs,etc.). She has had over 26 years of experience and it shows in the professional manner in which she treats her patients and the quality of her work. Pros: Nice home office situation Cons: Long drive for me, but worth it. more

I looked for 3.5 years to find someone who had the right prices and all the qualifications and experience as well as the best equipment! I did my homework by comparing your website and your practices against others. Over and over I kept coming back to your website and information to compare with places in NY and Tampa etc? I am extremely pleased and I will be back for even more services, (than my face and electrolysis to my eyebrows and moles)! I truly appreciate the personal care that you have shown me in helping me to achieve the results I have so long awaited for!! Call Karen before anything! 9/4/2007

Karen Marlise is such an incredible cosmetologist. She's doing laser to my face, and I see results already. She really knows what she is doing and she's trained on so many different things to make us pretty. She's done everything from my make up for special occaisions to waxing my thighs, and eyebrows, coloring my hair. A true specialist, she always takes time to explain any procedure and answer any questions so we know what to expect. She's so very personable, down to earth and friendly, I always have fun visiting her. Her salon is very discreet, private, and clean. She has only the newest machines, and everything you could possibly ask for. Hotwaxing, permanent make up, laser hair removal, electrolysis, IPL for sunspots and reconditioning damaged skin, the list goes on and on. I've been to others too...they did not even come close. I don't feel anyone is adept as Karen is. Karen is TOP NOTCH! She's fun to be with too, so call her at 727 398 4187. Pros: Discreet location, VERY private, nice professional atmosphere, good prices too. Cons: In Seminole, bit of a drive from North Tampa..but who cares, regarding what you get? more

Karen's Great!! 7/20/2007

I was a ""Laser Hair Removal Virgin"" when I first went to Karen. I read her reviews before I went there with my friend. She explained everything before and during the procedure in such a way that I knew that she knew exactly what she was doing. The results have been awesome! You pay as you go (none of those contracts that obligate you for the long haul) and her prices rock! I started in the bikini area, have added my lip area, and will probably go for the armpits next. She's a one-woman shop, so you don't have to worry about getting different people (that you don't know) each time you go, and she sincerely cares about her clients. Thanks Karen - see you soon! Excellent service! 7/3/2007

Karen is a true professional. I have had my eyebrows and lips tattooed. It's so great not to have to worry about that anymore! Karen's prices are very reasonable and she makes you feel like a million bucks. I have also had photo facial done by Karen. I will continue to go her with all of my cosmetic needs. She offers a huge variety of services. I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's easy to make an appointment because she seems to work all hours! WH Pros: Definitely thumbs up!!!!!!! more

I have visited several laser hair removal salons in the past and Karen's practice is the only place I chose to receive my treatments at. Karen is extremely knowledgeable and will make an educated suggestion for all your hair / make-up dilemmas. The top of the line products she uses and her experience are a unique combination that has been my choice for several years now. She is extremely accomodating - I never had a problem scheduling an appointment with her, and her great personality will put you at ease! I definitely recommend Karen's salon for all your hair removal / make-up needs. more

Although there are several laser hair removal locations in Tampa, I drive across the bridge to Seminole to have my services provided by Karen Marlise. Karen, in the three appointments I have had with her, has proven to be an outstanding professional. Karen always makes sure I am very comfortable. Her office is extremely sanitary. The laser Karen uses is the best on the market. Karen is continually training to improve herself in this ever growing industry. I'm so thankful to have found Karen. She is in the process of correcting my eyebrows and doing a fantastic job! With all of her qualifications and continous training I wouldn't dare go to anyone else. The quality service she provides is so hard to find out there. Outstanding professional facials, massages and permanent make-up ! 5/2/2007

I have been a loyal customer of Karen's for over a year. When I compare others in the tampa Bay area to the high quality and professionalism of Karen's services, there really is no comparison. Many good salons offer good service but far too many times are not always consistant. I believe one of the reasons is the constant employee turn-over. Karen is the sole owner and operator. There is no constant change of personnel. I always get the same quality services with a smile and great conversation. Karen truly ""listens"" to me as to what I need to feel and look better. She delivers! I strongly recommend her for any femine make over. She's great on hair and coloring too. I'm so glad I found her through a friend who is also a client. more
