Do not ship with Aero Packing. About a week after we returned from Napa, a customer service representative called and queried whether we wanted the shipper to hold the wine till temperatures dropped. I was impressed by their outreach. However, this was short lived. I advised that if the wine would be held, it would have to be shipped to a different address as I was about to move. Unfortunately, Aero Packing shipped the wine to the old address. One could assume the new tenant would reach out to forward the package. This didn't happen. When I contacted Aero packing about the problem, I requested they contact me on my cell. Apparently, the institutional lack of attention to detail continued and the shipper called a different number. Eventually, I spoke with a representative who explained the process where a claim would be filed with Fed ex for $100 max, then aero packing would file a claim with their insurance and then the person who made the mistake would pay the shipping. I should have told them to save it at the time because that is a bs way to resolve a mistake a company made. Common sense would say Aero Packing would reimburse me immediately for the loss or send me the wines I lost and then go through insurance claims for their own loss. I am now 2.5 months into this ordeal and haven't received reimbursement yet. aero Packing can't replace the wines because they are no longer available. One would also think that Aero packing would be proactive and regularly reach out to let me know the current status of the claim. However, I have had to keep reaching out to find out the status. \r

I reached out to the hotel where we lodged to advise of the issue and to request any available assistance. Unfortunately, La Residence in Napa did not want to get involved in the claim process and assured me aero packing was doing everything it could. 2.5 months with no resolution clearly shows Aero Packing's poor customer service and La Residence's poor judgement/support for a second rate shipper.\r
