Adventureland Inn

We enjoyed the pool areas and the trolly to Adventureland park. We spent most of the day at Adventureland and came back to the hotel very tired. It was nice to be able to order food from the restaurant and watch a movie in our room I would say this was my favorite stay we had at the Adventureland Inn and will try to book again for next year. more

This is a great place to visit exspecially in the summer when you can take advantage of the amusement park as well. But great place to stay year round..exspecially new years eve more

I was dreading staying here after reading the reviews, but my brother and his wife and kids have always liked this hotel and wanted to stay for the Fourth of July weekend. It turned out to be a great stay. Here are some of the things that I wanted to address based on what I've read from others reviews: I had three rooms reserved including one for one night and two for two nights. No problem and all the rooms were together. The front desk help was very friendly and helpful. Manager was clearly present at all times. Manager was leaving the front desk but returned when he saw me approaching. Room was clean, no smell, and very trendy. Flat screen tv in all rooms. Entrance to all room we had reserved had a tile floor. You can reach the bathroom and sink on tile. I think this cuts down on wet feet reaching the carpet. No problem with pool temps or chlorine. Had breakfast at their buffet. Excellent staff and our trendy coffee drinkers loved the coffee. The buffet is very basic, but good. The next day we had room service for one of the kids and it was quick and appropriately priced. Staff brought extra towels, coffee and cream, and shampoo to my mom when requested very quickly. So, I hope this all means that the hotel is turning things around. I hope you all have a good stay there. We did! more

We've stayed at the Adventurelann Inn twice now, last summer and again this summer. Both times we were impressed with how clean the rooms were and how friendly the staff were. Kudos to them! At first glance, the place looks very outdated from the street, and even when you walk into the main entrance, you kind of shudder at the decor, but rest assured, the rooms have all been updated, and now have granite countertops, flat screen TVs, and are some of the cleanest rooms we've stayed in for a waterpark resort. I have to say, their rooms are MUCH cleaner than Great Wolf Lodge in KC (and bug free!) Our kids are 7, 6 and 1 and they all had fun in the pools. The breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about, but usually buffets aren't! They have a shuttle that takes you to Adventureland for free. After spending the day at Adventureland, we came back, the kids played and we order carry out from the the restaurant --it was really good and very affordable (yummy appetizers and kids meals were only $19). more

Great place to stay-what else can I say? Very friendly staff, rooms were very nice, the pool was well taken care of and the pool atmosphere, landscaping, was very enjoyable. more

Family place folks. Spent most of our time at the pool or the theme park so the amenities of the room was not really in question with us. We have been here before, we came back, enough said. It's a nice get away for the kids. The place is old and knowing that going in might ease your senses a bit since you won't be expecting fresh digs with the latest prints on the wall. Also, water and fabric plus the passage of time is going to lead to some bad outcomes. People expect sooo much these days it frustrates the heck out of me when they bash on a place like this because they expect to pay $22/night and receive in room facials, massages and pedicures. This place is wonderful for the family. We will go back. more

My children (6 & 9), and I had a very nice stay here. After driving from Kansas City to enjoy Adventureland, it was super convienent to stay where we played. Although I thought the price was a little step it was worth it overall. The rooms were nice, clean and staff was friendly. Two interactive pool areas and the room service made this trip much more comfortable. We stayed on the far side of the pools which I believe were a step up from the poolside rooms, lacking a flat panel TV and such. I would stay here again. more

me and my family loved this hotel we found adventure and color in this bright,fun memorable hotel! if u like a memorable experience you definetly want to come to adventureland! it has nice size rooms and has excellent service! the park is great too! it has a great amuzement park that lets you get the whole family involved! it has a little mini pool for lil kids. it has rides that the whole family can go on it is the best amusement park in the whole US it is a great park! you should go there for a vacation it is GREAT! DON'T FORGET GO TO ADVENTURELAND IT IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!! more

...VERY VERY nice. Our family of 5 loved this hotel, mainly because of the fast shuttle to Adventureland. It had 2 nice pools and a poolside bar(loved that). The restaurant looked and smelled great, yet we did not go, we ate ate the park. Had a great time and we will go again....!!! more

This will be our new family tradition! We had such a great time here! The pools were great for our 4 and 5 year old. The room was very nice with a little patio area. The location couldn't be better! The staff was very friendly. We will be returning every year. Thank you! more
