Adventureland Inn

Just wrote Joe a note about reservations for our 34th year at Adventureland. Looking forward to building some more memories. Michelle (33) and Jill (30) still get 'teary' eyed and excited when talking about Adventureland and our stories. more

Great place: Adventureland INN is a very clean place, their staff was great to me and my kids, they get my thanks i now go every year with my kids to stay there. more

Ready to go back.: It was a great family hotel experience. We loved being able to walk out to the pool area. more

Super Stay: I've been there four times & picked because of its'close proximitry to the park. more

A peaceful getaway: I just love the Adventureland Inn! I live in Altoona and it is nice to get a room and have a nice dinner. Like a mini vacation from home but close enough to get there if we need to. Sometimes it is just the thing to break up the week. It is nice to pamper myself (with someone special of course)and check in. more

Best Reception Ever!: I actually had my Wedding Reception at this location. It was perfect. The room was beautiful with a fountain in the background, pillars and soft lights everywhere. The staff was so great to us and even put up with the father of the bride's crazy demands with a smile. They even arranged for a location in the hotel to be reserved for a gift opening the next morning. They covered everything. I couldn't have asked for more. The suite that evening was beautiful with a balcony that we could sit on and just relax and talk. I would recommend this location to anyone getting married in the future. more

I like this inn alot we go every year: the wet bar is a nice place to good then you are done with the park and the two pools are great and the hot tub is to great and the Sunday meals is the best I had. more

I LOVE IT: i love it it has great things for the kids to do I LOVE IT they love and i go there 4 times a year more

Very good time: I stayed at the Adventureland Inn over Memorial Day Weekend and had an excellent experience. We stayed in one of the poolside two-room suites it was very nice. I think they may have remodeled these rooms because the furniture was in very good shape and it was cleaner than the room we stayed in a year earlier. My three kids 3,5 and 7 loved the pool and we had no problems with the chlorine level or anything else. more

FABULOUS: THE STAFF IS HELPFUL, POLITE AND WILLING TO ASSIST IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE. THE ROOMS HAVE BEEN REMODELED AND ARE CLEAN, AND WELL CARED FOR. THE LOCATION IS WONDERFUL. BEING ABLE TO RIDE THE FREE TROLLY TO THE PARK SAVED US BOTH TIME AND MONEY AND WAS QUICK AND EASY. THE POOLS WERE A TREAT FOR OUR SON WHO NEVER WANTED TO GO HOME! HE HAD SUCH AN AMAZING TIME. THE POOL BAR WAS GREAT FOR MY HUSBAND AND I TO WATCH OUR SON PLAY WHILE HAVING ADULT CONVERSATION AND FUN! more

the great get away: It is convenient to Adventureland and the Casino. It has a excellent shuttle service. It also has three wonderful pools with a swim up bar. Wonderful service. more

Nice getaway: We were looking for something near that was somewhat like an indoor waterpark. The 0-depth pool was GREAT for the kids, I didn't have to go in and hold my 2-year old the whole time, as she could touch! WONDERFUL! more

Our families had a great time. I do agree it is time for them to do some updates. Allowing us to have our wristbands and use of the pool is a big plus with the boys. Our service was very good. Our coffee maker leaked when we took it to the desk they apologized shortly after we returned to the room a new coffee maker was delivered. Our poolside rooms were amazingly quiet. more

Adventureland hotel: I stayed there alot of times when I was young I see it now and I want to go back I enjoyed it the food and the pool now they changed some. more

Younger children will enjoy: This is as good as any hotel. It was easy to get to and there was plenty of parking. The room was on the west end and it was clean. We asked for more pillows and with in 5 minutes we had someone at the door with pillows and blankets more

Don't go anywhere else.: We come to Adventureland every year and the only place we stay (at the request of our three children) is the Adventureland Inn. They are very accommodating, clean, close and we have never had a bad experience there. Highly recommend. more

Spent most of our time at the pool or the theme park so the amenities of the room was not really in question with us. We have been here before, we came back, enough said. It's a nice get away for the kids. more

Great!: The rooms are small, but you can just literally walk to the park. It was very fun. The pools were amazing! more

Very nice park and scenery and Make sure when you go on ranging river to wear a swimming suit or you will get soaked. more

Hi Joseph! My name Is Sheree Vanderkamp! My family and I had an event at the Adventureland Inn this past weekend in the Iowa Ballroom!!! I was just writing you a short letter to tell you how incredible, fantastic and helpful your staff there is!!!! We worked with molly Downs putting together this family event with only 2 months to spare! We had originally rented a space to do this at the Ramada Inn on Merle Hay Road, but it was flooded this past summer with all the rain we received! We were a little stressed out trying to find something with that short of notice, but when we met with Molly everything changed!!!! She was so helpful! I emailed her a lot with questions and worries and she was always there to help me and ease my worries!!! Always letting me know that she would do whatever to help, and make everything go smoothly!!!!! Then when the morning of the event came she was right there as I was setting up! Making sure I didn’t need anything! There was also a women by the name of Carol I believe that helped serve food to my family that night! She was the sweetest women I’d ever met!!!!! I from here on out will absolutely recommend the Adventureland Inn as a place to have any sort of event!!!! I’ve never felt so comfortable and less stressed in my life while trying to plan something like this!!!! I would hope that you would give both ladies a very special “Thank you” from me and my family for all that they did for us! Their kind smiles and helping hands made me and my families day extra special!!! That’s just something you don’t find very often!!! Thanks again and I hope you have a wonderful day!!!!! more
