Advanced Foundation Repair

THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE HONEST WITH YOU ! We are at a place and time that businesses need business so when you call foundation companies they will almost always say you need repairs and big ones. Not the case with these guys. I called out 3 companies and got 3 different analysis so I called Advanced for a 4th. Fred looked at all 3 and honestly told me they were all fishing and that my house does not need repair. He said he would put some work into it if it helped me sleep but at the age of my house the movement was not even classified as minor and any messing with structure would have a better chance of causing more damage than help.\r \r That was 2 years ago. We are selling our home now and the buyers brought out 2 companies of which gave two different issues contradicting the other one. Fred sent their guy out the next day and we are pleased to have been given the same advice from 2 years ago. Its a shame our first buyers walked away but we have 4 showings the same day they backed out and should have offers Monday. \r \r Do yourself a favor and call this company when you are done with the high dollar radio ad people who are out to get you.\r \r We need good people like Fred and good companies like Advanced ! more

This company did not do one thing that they said they were going to do. When I originally called them they said they would be out w/i a week. Then when they found out we had a warranty with them the lady on the phone said I am sorry but now it will be 6 weeks to get out there now. She gave me some BS answer. Guy gets out to my house, looks at the crack in the wall and says. There's nothing wrong. We show him the crack in the kitchen. You can stick your finger in it. He says ""There is nothing wrong."" He says ""Have a plumber come out and see if you have a leak under your foundation."" Could be the waste pipe or the water line. I told him there's no smell and the meter does not register that any water is leaking. It is not wet around the foundation? He had no answer for that one. During these times when customer service seems to have become a thing of the past, it is nice to know that there are still companies that take pride in their work and stand behind it. This has been my experience with Advanced Foundation Repair. They did foundation repair work for me about 6 years ago and when I had a warranty concern recently, they reacted to my letter and the problem has been resolved beyond my satisfaction. The original work was done in a professional manner, they have stood behind their work and that is why I have in the past and will continue to recommend them to friends. more

We took bids from seven foundation repair companies. Advanced was about midpoint in the seven estimates. One company told us that our home required 27 piers. Advanced placed 14 piers. Some companies showed up without any measuring equipment or levels. The crew arrived right on time and completed the work in the estimated time. They repaired one sprinkler riser. Advanced Foundation sent an estimator out to our home to give us an idea of what it would cost to repair our foundation. He was very nice and thorough. He said he would send his information to the engineer and I should receive an emailed estimate from them on Friday. Needless to say, Friday has came and gone twice and still no hear. My wife called the company and asked about the estimate. The receptionist said that she would contact him so that we can get the estimate. The estimator never responded to our call. And I don't care how good they proclaim to be, I find it difficult to trust this company to do any work for us with this show of disregard and professionalism. I'd gotten bids from a few foundation companies. Advanced was about in the middle, but the piers impressed me more, as did the people. So, I chose them. I'm very glad that I did. The men did a very good job, working around my flower beds to the best of their ability, and replanting anything that needed to be dug up. None of the companies I got bids from would guarantee that the plants would survive, and one company even refused to replant anything and said that wasn't their job, they only do foundation work. Advanced not only did their best to be careful of my plants, they told me to pay special attention to them for the next several weeks, as it's the after care of the plants that helps them survive. I did, and my plants are fine. They also re-mortarted the cracks on the exterior of my house, and did a great job doing so, matching what was already there (another thing that another company refused to do). I would absolutely recommend them to everyone I know and, in fact, have done so. Their work and customer service are superior, to say the least. I want to share our experience with Advanced Foundation Repair and our home. We have lived in our home for over 20 years since moving to the Dallas area and only had a few minor cracks in the tiled floors. Almost overnight, the home had developed some rather large cracks in several of the inside walls and outside bricks. Our damages were only on the front right portion of the home. We called several companies, including Advanced Foundation Repair, to inspect our home and give us some advice. Of the plans and bids received, Advanced Foundation Repair was in the middle of the pack. We received one plan for supports all around the home and another one called for supports put in through our floors. Unlike the other salesman, the inspector from Advanced did a very thorough drawing and survey of our home. His report looked like something an engineer might do. After looking over all the bids, we selected Advanced. Their steel pilings looked stronger than the other methods of support from the other companies. The warranty from Advanced is backed up by a cash trust fund and not just a promise! The crew did a great job (it was a little messy during the work) and cleaned up quite well when the were done. I would recommend that you call several companies, but hire Advanced Foundation Repair. I give them an A+. more

I contacted ADVANCED FOUNDATION REPAIR, 5601 W. Jefferson Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75211. ADVANCED came to my home and had me sign a contract for them to do the work. In fine print on the contract, it stated that ADVANCED would not be responsible for damage to the flower beds. I didn't want to sign the contract with that statement in it, but the foreman, or lead man, said don't worry, we will take care of any and all damages to your flower beds. I went out a couple of days later and was looking at the flower beds and noticed that some of the plants didn't look too healthy. I called ADVANCED and they said that they replanted everything properly and not to worry. I decided to withhold half of the payment for a couple of weeks, just to see what happened. I lost hundreds of dollars of plants, withheld money for these, and sent ADVANCED the rest of the money. They took me to court.. The court ruled in their favor because of the fine print in the contract. I told the judge that I was verbally told they would correct any problems they caused to my flower beds. The owner of ADVANCED asked me if I had it in writing, and of course, I said no. I was forced to pay interest on what I owed and court costs. I tried to plead with ADVANCED but to no avail. I paid ADVANCED the money left on the original contract, but did not pay the interest and court costs, and ADVANCE took out a mechanic's lien against my home. Recently, I got a contract to sell my home. ADVANCED was asked for a payoff and they doubled what I owned. I called the owner of ADVANCED and he told me that I had to pay whatever he wanted to put down for settlement. I told him that the court had already ruled on the figure and he couldn't change it. He just laughed at me. I can't say whether or not, ADVANCED was legally wrong, but they are definitely morally wrong. I guess some businesses don't care about be moral.
