I am commercial property owner that had dealt with Alton Bryant who at first came across as an honest quality oriented person but that was far from true. Alton was very nice and worked with our insurance on a large roof project and sold me on some construction needs I had. First off the roof 3 of the roofs where done amazingly perfect by Francis crew and the last roof was done by another crew of there?s and it was night and day in quality, cleanup and just over all professionalism. To put it simple they sucked and I had them fix a number issues though there still are issues that they refused to resolve. They left junk everywhere and trash everywhere. We gave them rooms while they did construction and they where disrespectful to our property. We got complaints from other guest and lost a couple thousand dollars in business. And that is leaving a number of issue out of it as I am so over this company and there half ass professionalism but needed to warn others. Now onto the construction which was even worse then the roof, Alton?s guys new nothing and caused issues, smoking and leaving there trash everywhere, even more disrespectful to our rooms then the roofers. And once again we received many complaints from other guest and lost a couple thousand dollars in business. Alton lied about his workers capabilities and there was no communication, we had to pull some strings to get the city to sign off on there work and we are so unhappy with the gazebo and all the other things we had them do that we are contemplating legal action. Alton?s crew made me repeat myself 3, 4 and even 5 times as they forgot and or actually I have no idea. However they where given detailed blue prints and instructions we had this same gazebo done before we lost it in the storm and never had these issues or questions. Very unprofessional and lazy. They took forever sat around smoking a lot. Te gutters where done ok however there are a number of clogged down spots that they never fixed. They where to clean the gutters before they put the gutter guards on and that was never done. Overall I am embarrassed of the work they have done on my hotel and will have to tear it down and rebuild next year. I have had people make comments on how crappy it looks. Also they fixed or tried to fix our flag stone rock walkway and it is not level or done very well. All around crappy people work with Alton and Advanced Exteriors and would stay away. If I could have given zero star I would have. Long story short if you are a commercial property stay away from ADVANCED EXTERIORS If you are a residential customer I am sure if you get Francis crew it will be great work anyone else I would stay away. more

We hired Advanced Exteriors in August 2010 to put on a new roof, do some repairs, and paint the exterior of our home. They asked for an $1800 down payment. They told us the insurance company was not covering everything they should and that they would take care of dealing with them for the extra money. Our insurance agent told us they would not return his call, nor would they provide the information needed. After 7 frustrating months of no returned calls and no work done, we fired Adv Ext and hired a good contractor who, by the way, was able to complete the job with what our insurance company paid. Adv. Ext. will not return our calls or our money. We filed a grievance with the BBB, which was not resolved in the allotted time. We are now heading to small claims court. Do not use these people! more

The company will not stop harassing telemarketing calls despite being asked multiple times. We did business with this company back in 2006 or 2007 but have not had them provide any services since. Every six months or so, we receive unsolicited calls asking to come out and bid work. We do not have any work for them and have asked repeatedly to be removed from the call list. On March 22, 2011 I received a call from Ken and asked again to have the calls stop. I followed that up with an email that was never responded to. Today, another call came in, again from Ken at 1:41 pm... I guess I have to file complaints to get them to leave us alone. more

I worked for these idiots last year. They are dishonest to the core. Their sales meetings are all about how to rip you off as a customer. They also bring in jobs from hard working honest people and then don't pay them. The owner sits in his office and plays computer games at age 50 plus!!! Complete dumbass!! I have seen it. The book keeper is a crook. Look for yourself!!! Call the number they have listed online!!! They will not answer their own telephone during business hours and you can't leave a message!!! They have NO WEBSITE!!! THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER OR PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! more

Yes, they're still in business if you can call it that. But if you're calling them to take care of what you already paid for to get them to live up to their promises- forget about a returned call. I've been calling several times a year for over five years now to get about $50.00 worth of warranty work done. Still no returned call! Apparently BBB complaints havent changed anything - BBB has handled 16 complaints on them in the last 12 months! more

I hired Adv Ext a few months ago and had to file a complaint with BBB to get them to answer my concerns. If you have already signed a contract, I advise you to take off from work and watch their every move. They will cut every corner imaginable. Make sure you get everything in writing. I had siding and windows put on my house and they explained that they would send me all the paperwork to get the tax credit. When I asked for it I got a ""statement"" that said ""windows purchased - $8,000"" no identification of the type or amount of windows - which is required for filing for the tax credit.
