ACR started our summer with a new exposed aggregate driveway, new front steps and porch w/overlay and a stamped rear garden walkway! The crew was fantastic! My husband and I have been remodeling our home in College Hill for a over a year now. ACR and Frank Zeibell have by far been the best contractor to deal with. We hired them to tear out and replace the front and back patios and walks, and to resurface our basement floor with a stamped overlay. Everything turned out so wonderful, and we didn't have to worry about schedule or budget for their part of the remodel. Frank never wavered on his quote. Almost every other contractor we've used acts like their qoutes don't mean anything and are constantly looking for change orders. Not with Frank. He gave me a quote, and didn't ask for a dollar more. Although not a large project (approx. $20K) this was a multi-faceted project in addition to decorative concrete. Under Frank's leadership (4) 16 ft columns were taken down, refurbished and reinstalled with new bases after the concrete pad was replaced. We decided on using ACR after getting approximately 6 quotes from different companies for a brand new stamped concrete patio. ACR was always professional, answered all my questions, provided me with information regarding options, and completed a BEAUTIFUL stamped concrete patio as promised! The workers were right on schedule, showed up when promised and completed project as promised! We put a % of money down prior to project being started (as expected) and did not pay full amount until work was complete. We have received SO MANY compliments on our patio from neighbors and friends. We have referred ACR numerous times b/c people ask WHO DID YOUR PATIO when they step into our back yard!!! We even had ACR return for a second project because we were SO HAPPY with the results they provided the first time!!!!! The owner gave me his cell phone # and returned my calls promptly, He was on site the majority of the project and the workers were professional and hardworking! We contracted ACR Concrete to install a new patio along with some other miscellaneous tasks we needed to have completed. At first they were very eager to help and to make sure we were happy with the work. \r \r Once the project started and they received the deposit the work started to decline. After the concrete was installed they wanted to collect the balance of the project even though they had not completed the other items we had contracted. They crew advised us that although they were capable of performing them, they were not permitted. \r \r Confused, we contacted the office immediately, so that we could sort out the misunderstanding and have our work completed. Instead of reaching the helpful office we had contracted with we had apparently reached one of the owners. It was apparent she had no idea what was going on, so while trying to explain our issues she proceeded to yell and conduct herself very unprofessionally.\r \r In the end we got our money back for the items they were refusing to complete and contacted with another company. \r \r Please take my experience into consideration when deciding who you will contract your concrete work with.\r Pros: Experienced crew Cons: Owners are unprofessional more

Watch them every step of the way, especially if the owner is running or selling the job! Do your homework and know the difference between right and wrong ways of concrete installation.
