I would highly recommend ACR Concrete. They recently completed a 700+ foot stamped concrete patio for me and it is beautiful. In the initial process, I received bids from 6 different companies, but Frank was the most helpful, the most knowledgable, and the most professional of all the concrete companies. He showed me numerous samples that they have poured at their office in Maineville, which was extremely helpful in deciding which pattern and color to choose. All the workers were polite and professional, the job was completed in a timely manner, and the patio turned out just like I had hoped. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, their follow-up has been great. When I asked if they could come back and apply another layer of sealer (I am very particular), they came out the same day and did it. ACR is a great company that says what it does...and does what it says. more

I hired Frank and his team at ACR to pour some concrete sidewalks, a patio, and some stairs around my home in Northside. I thought when we started getting poor weather this winter I would start hearing excuses about not being able to finish the project in time, but instead I didn't hear not one peep of a complaint. I was so very impressed with their commitment to me and my project. They manage to figure out a way to get it done when they said they would without sacrificing the quality of the job. Best Experience with ACR. I had never used a contractor before, so I didn't know what to expect. ACR wasn't the low bidder but they were very close. However, there presentation was better and they made me feel more comfortable.They came with great design ideas, and helped me through the whole process. I am so happy I decided on ACR. They did everything they said they would, for the price they quoted me. My stamped patio looked so beautiful when it was all done, it made me cry. Thanks Frank. more

We have been planning on updating our patio for several years so this winter we met with and collected severals proposals. The decision was an easy one- ACR was the most knowledgeable and offered the best quality product at a great price. In addition, he brought new ideas to the project that we had not considered. The ACR crew were very courteous and finished the work in a few days! They even do landscaping. We are so pleased with the patio, landscaping, and now are enjoying our backyard to the fullest. If I could give Ten Stars I would. ACR did a wonderful job on my slate stamped driveway and walks. I had to talk my wife into getting stamped concrete, but now that it's done, she absolutely loves it. I am so happy I found ACR to do the job, because if someone could make my driveway look better, I'd like to see it. Plus, their workmen were very professional and easy to work with, and their adminstration people were great too. All-Around great company. more

My wife and I wanted to get a new driveway poured last summer so we contacted several concrete companies for quotes. Frank was the only contractor who was willing to come meet with my wife and I face to face and describe the job in detail. After discussing our plans with Frank we also agreed to have a stamped patio and sidewalk done and had ACR do an overlay on our existing porch. All of this was very affordable. The crew was very professional to work with and the quality of the end product is second to none. Our friends were so impressed with the quality of the patio that they also had ACR pour them a stamped concrete patio. ACR's work speaks for itself. more

If I could give zero stars I would. I hired Frank to put in the stamped concrete around our pool. He did not finish the job. The work he did complete was not up to concrete industry standards. He did not pay his subcontractors. He told me if I took him to court I would win and he would file for bankruptcy and I would not get a dime. I took him to court, he filed bankruptcy. Frank and his crew are the best. I wanted a patio added to my back yard and with Frank's help decided on a stamped patio with a shape and color. The crew was hardworking and professional. They even stayed to protect the concrete from the weather when rain was threatening. They graded the yard and power washed the side of the house before sealing the patio. Frank was always on top of things and really cared about my satisfaction. He is not happy until you are happy. I have been around contractors all my life and I have never had the excellent customer service that I did from ACR concrete. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an honest, customer oriented contractor! They are going to get a call when I add a hot tub next year! more

Frank put in a large stamped concrete patio at our last house. Had an existing 900 gallon fish pond they have to mold and work around and did a great job with the current work and maintaining what was already there. Since then we moved and we missed the patio so much had them put another in at our new location. Midstream of them quoting the job I decided I wanted a walk out basement and Frank said ""sure...we can do that!"" So they did...in addition to the 12x12 out in the yard, 10x10 for the hot tub, 16ft large round surface for the patio, large steps and curved walk ways to all of it. I think we all know with construction there comes issues and I will be the first to admit I'm a perfectionist and a pain to any contractor. Frank took all of me in stride and with any thing I brought up. Response was always ""we'll make it right."" and they did. Pricing is right and gorgeous work. He'll be back out this summer to put in the play area and look forward to working with him and his team again! more

We are very pleased with our new stamped patio by ACR Concrete. We had many quotes but they were much lower than all the other companies. Frank was very knowledgeable and had many ideas for a design that would suit our yard. The job was done in a quick and effecient manner with very little mess to the yard. The ACR team removed and replaced a 20 year old, 2000 sq ft driveway, added ~600 sq feet of stamped concrete walkways, a fire pit area, a stamped concrete front entrance, five trees in a new dirt bed, installed a yard drain, sealed our front pavers and mulched approximately 4000 sq feet of bedding for us. The work also included straw and overseeding of the areas around the concrete work - both along the sides of the driveway and the new concrete walkways. It has been a real pleasure to work with Frank and his team - from the start, we discussed options openly and Frank came up with sensible, cost effective solutions for the issues we were having. The crew was great - extremely hard working and accessible - when we had questions or items to discuss, (which you will with all projects), we were able to do so both with Frank and his guys. As the project progressed, we asked to add items, and in all cases, it was no problem. All work has been done professionally and of top quality. I highly recommend ACR for concrete and landscaping. Needed to edit this review. Had to ding them a star. As below we contracted with them to do some concrete work, and that is still OK, but I would not recommend them for landscaping, or in our case reseeding around their work and the whole yard. \r We payed them to smooth out and reseed the areas that they damaged during the concrete work. They did part of this when the concrete work was done, planning to come back later and seed and straw over those areas. They also ran out of dirt for the job. \r When they returned we also paid them to aerate the yard and overseed. \r They did aerate, and reseed, but they never put more dirt down or any straw over the old or new areas.\r I called them and got no response. \r \r So, concrete work is fine, but landscaping is questionable, and customer service is just not there.\r \r Needed new steps into a side room that was being remodeled so it met code. While contracting ACR, decided on replacing an old back patio and front steps and porch.\r \r Didn't really expect them to start on the job in January, but with the strange weather it worked out (the folks at ACR apparently plow snow in the winter and due to the weather they needed/wanted something to do).\r \r The job took longer than I expected it to, but that was not due to their work or work ethic, but my inexperience with how long it would take. It did not matter for this job, but perhaps a little more communication and customer education would have been in order.\r \r Back and side patios look great. Front walk and from porch look nice as well, though they seem a little slick when it rains and I am concerned about people slipping on them. All concrete was supposed to have a matte finish, and the side and back patios do, not quite so sure about the front though.\r \r Paid extra for them to smooth out and re-seed around the areas that got dug up and damaged during their work. Of course, this was still January and understandably they did not want to seed until the middle of March. Was a bit disappointed/weary to pay the full amount before all work was done, but they did come back and finish the job. Was also a little disappointed at how they left the front walk area (lots of concrete pieces left in the planting beds) when they first finished the job, but we contacted Frank Z and let him know and they cleaned it up when they came back to plant the grass seed. \r Now we'll have to see how the grass seed grows. \r \r Over all their work seems to be well done and it looks nice. Can not really comment on the price as they were a recommended contractor and we did not bid out the job. I am happy with the work that they performed for the price.\r \r Frank commented that he prided himself at how clean they left the job site. While they were much much better than many construction workers we have hired in the past, with just a little more effort they could have been spectacular. more

I was looking to get some slate put down on my front and back patios at my house in Amberley Village, but found that it was going to be cost prohibitive. Then I talked to Frank Zeibell, and he told me about stamped concrete. Much Less Expensive, Easier to Maintain, and Just as Beautiful. You wouldn't believe what they can do with concrete these days. ACR ripped out my old boring cracked up concrete patios and poured back stamped concrete that had the look for which I was going. And I have a lot more money in my pocket than I would have if I went with real slate. more

Frank and the crews from ACR turned a crumbled pool deck and mismatched concrete slabs into our personal resort. Frank Ziebel designed a patio the fit our home perfectly. The ACR work crews treated our home and family with respect at all times, going out of there way to make sure the job site was clean and safe at the end of each day.
