Best in South West Houston, Acori Diamonds & Design, We sold 5 ounces of Gold bullion bars. and got more than any other place would offer. It feels really nice when you can come out ahead and know it... If anyone needs to sell Gold or Silver, diamonds too I think, just go see them first, you'll save allot of time that way ... more

I bought a setting for a diamond my parents gave me which belonged to my great grandmother. I felt the original setting was antique'ish, or very dated in appearance, but I loved the diamond. We on the basis that I go to Acori Diamonds & Design, friends of my Mom, I had a custom setting made and my great grandmothers diamond set into it. Something Old Something New ... And combined we've created a truly unique, one of a kind Masterpiece which I am so proud of, it really is the special kind of heirloom that will last for generations to come. more

This store is the my favorate in Friendswood and every time we go to visit family I have to stop in and see what kind of unique jewelry they have. I've both bought jewelry and sold scrap gold at Acori. The owners are super friendly and very talented when it comes to custom jewelry. more

My diamond engagement ring is from Acori Diamonds and Design and it's always got people commenting on how nice it is. It is a custom ring that was created just for me by my X husband who later cheated on me. That was real hard, but I know things happen for a reason and I've sense met the true love of my life and we're driving in to Friendswood just to have custom wedding bands made as well as to pick out my engagement ring. I can't wait to meet the owners in person for the 1st time and I'm very excited about our new marriage being symbolized in our custom wedding bands. more

I live in the Memorial area, but when I really want a special piece of jewelry I always visit my jeweler friends in Friendswood. Acori Jewelers has always come threw for me with the right gift at surprisingly low rates. This is a family run business and the owner Bill is an exceptional jewelry craftsman. Connie his wife is some of the nicest people you'd ever hope to meet. This feedback is for fixing my watch that took a little damage from a leaking battery, as usual they always come thru for me. more

I bought my wife's engagement ring at Acori Diamonds & Design. There are a number of very fine jewelers here in Friendswood, but my wife had a picture of what she wanted, and so I search all the jewelers for it to no avail. I didn't find it at Acori either, but I really clicked with the owners Billy and Connie as if I'd known them for years and when I learned that they can custom design anything I could imagine I pulled out my wife photo. After studying it a little and discussing the stone to be used I agreed to let billy create it. On return and to this day I am amazed at the artistry Billy created from an old insurance photo. The price was surprisingly affordable considering it's a custom piece, and my now wife shows me she love it ( and me ) in a million different way all the time. I can't thank you enough. more

Who would have thought the best place to sell my gold bars I bought over 20 years ago when I was in the Navy visiting Turkey would be in a Jewelry Store by the name of Acori Diamonds & Design. I tried both pawn shops and coin dealers but never made the sale because I always felt I wasn't getting a realistic return based on current spot. It doesn't matter what I paid 20 years ago, that's irrelevant and I think where I made my mistake. I shouldn't have told them that part, they thought they could just throw any big number at me & I'd accept. Acori was different. Connie & Bill are really personable professionals and their offer was strong so I took it. And yes I made 500% over my original investment ( on 5 ounces :) but I would not have if it weren't for Acori Diamonds & Design. So Thank You Bill & Connie... more

We spent about a week taring up everything looking for my Mother-in-Laws lost engagement ring. Mom was devastated, and so secretly we decided to use Acori Diamonds & Design to recreate the diamond ring. We brought 5 photos in and asked Bill to see how close he could get it. Few days later we came in and saw the prototype he'd create which was Perfect. Looked just like the original so we gave him the go ahead to make it for real. This time we put an artificial diamond in it just in case she looses it again. When we gave it to her we reinforced the idea that we forgot it was just being cleaned at the jeweler, and she was so relieved. We can not thank Acori Diamonds & Design enough for helping us avoid fully breaking Mom's heart in the loss of her engagement ring. more

Well we were looking for a place to sell some gold we bought in Turkey over 20 years ago and a friend told us about Acori. We actually paid about 350 per ounce for 8 bars. Then we sold 5 bars for just under 1700 each. We could have sold them all but my wife suggested we keep three just in case gold triples in value :) The process could not have been more simple. I spoke to the owner Billy and he's a real professional. In fact, the store itself make that point clear that they are committed to top quality service. If we do sell the other 3 bars you can be sure we'll be going back to Acori. more

When my Grandmother died she passed on some loose diamonds she'd collected over her long life. There were 5 of them and we all got one, each of them about 2 carets and all very clear in quality. Well my siblings had already sold there's and I was planning to keep mine, which was the prettiest IMO, but I lost my job last year and it's been hard raising our child in this economy so I decided to let it go. I went to a few places until I happened upon Acori Diamonds & Design. I thought maybe they could do something with it and I was right, they buy diamonds, gold and silver. So we visited and Billy checked out my diamond which he said was highly desirable. Honestly i didn't take his offer right away as I was temporarily blinded with hopes of the most money for my ""highly desirable"" diamond, but after going to a few more places I quickly realized the offer Billy made was substantially more than anyone else would. So I went back and thank God was still able to make the sale. Thanks Billy. more

We received excellent service every time we visit and the owners Connie and Billie are the Best people you could ever hope to meet. This is why we won't shop anywhere else for anything we can buy there. more

This place is great because they carry such beautiful merchandise. But what's even more unique about Acori is they actually make Jewelery custom to order... I have watched them work and it's really remarkable and it makes you start thinking about what they could do for you :) I discovered this place when I was looking for a place to sell 50 ounces of pure silver to. This went on for a long time until I was referred to Acori. Done deal, they were quit generous and it was really fast & simple. more

Only go to this store if you want the 6/7/2012

Only go to this store if you want the Best, most Personal service from a jeweler who no only buys gold, silver and diamonds, but who also creates fine jewelry from scratch. I just went in there to see what kind of offer I could get on a gold necklace and 3 rings. One ring had a huge polished bloodstone, the other a blue star sapphire, and the last a diamond. I'd already gotten prices from some pawn shops and knew the stones were not going to get me any money. But I was wrong. Turns out even though my stones were not the best, he had a use for them, or knew someone else who would want them, something like that. So all and all I got 3x the money that the very Best Pawn shop was willing to offer me and hell yea I took the money. LOL... At the same time I learned allot about the business Billy and Connie run and I was personally very impressed. Its a family run business too. So they will get all my business in the future. Acori Diamonds and Design has earned a customer for life. I found this store to have plenty of options and extremely helpful staff. I purchased my wife's engagement ring and our wedding bands from Acori. Billy has an obvious passion for his work and makes sure that you as a customer get everything you need. This is always my first stop when I think about getting jewelry as a gift or in need of any jewelry repairs. They always treat me right :) more

Took my wife's and my Rolex in for service.. Both came back looking brand spanking new.. Wonderful staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.. Highly recommended. Always first class service.. Beautiful selection of very fine high quality jewelry. We only buy from Acori... more

One of the best Jewelers in Houston 5/11/2012

What a Wonderful store. You're greeted with a smile and a wide selection. The prices are very reasonable and you can always find something in your budget. What I like most about Avori is it is a family run business and its hard to find that kind of quality service and attention to detail from the mall stores. I was just in there and every time I stop buy I always find something new that I like. It's just a really nice environment to forget the world and shop for treats. more

I love Acori Diamonds and have been going there for years under the old name before the owners got Married. They have the best staff who really are generous with their knowledge and interest in your objective. They worked with us when we bought our engagement rings and had little to spend. Whenever we need gifts for anyone we know where to find the perfect item- they have the best website too. I would say even if your on the other side of Houston it's well worth your while to make the drive to see Connie and Billy the owners of Acori Diamonds & Design. You Will Not Be Disappointed... more

Sold my Silver for 1500 4/18/2012

Sold my Silver for 1500 at Acori Diamonds & Design This is a great jewelry store that does it all. We sold 50 ounces of silver coins. We tried to hold on as long as we could but the economy is hard. We did shop around for the best return and we found it with Acori Diamonds & Design ( the new name of Wedgewood Village Jewelers ). We'll stretch this 1500 out as long as we can and then i guess we'll be back to sell some more when the time comes. more
