My grandfather gave me a few gold coins and told me that when I couldn't hold out any longer to sell them one at a time to help get me thru this ruff economy. Well I hit a breaking point while in Friendswood, Tx. My car broke down while I was visiting family and I didn't know what else to do. Fortunately a family member told my about Acori and after one visit I was not only impressed with Acori as a Jeweler and Gold buy, I was back on the road full of appriciation for my grandfather as Acori. more

I had a great experience at Acori Diamonds & Design. I wasn't 100% sure about what I wanted for a special gift, but the staff did a great job of helping me figure it out. I spent a few hours on two separate occasions looking through different diamonds and earring settings. I was assisted by Connie, and she was helpful and professional throughout the process. The selection here is so great, and the prices are more than reasonable. I'm happy with my purchase, especially since my wife loves her new earrings... I highly recommend Acori Diamonds & Design to anyone & everyone in the market for a fantastic deal on custom diamond jewelery. more

I had my diamond studs reset here and I was really impressed with the work. One of my earring backs fell off and they completely reset the diamond into sturdier posts with screwbacks. The work was affordable. The staff is friendly and I am very happy with the work they did. more

We went there to have a ring engraved because the store where we originally bought it said it was too thin for engraving. Acori Diamonds had a look and they said the could do it. They kept their promise; they did an awesome job and even delivered it to our home to make sure we got it in time! more

Acori was AMAZING! I needed my wife's engagement ring and wedding band soldered together, something she'd been meaning to do forever. We live out of town, but was told the people at this store do good work. So I stopped in randomly and they were able to do everything for me on the spot! It looks beautiful, the people working were so helpful, and now my wife's rings are integrated as she wants them to be. I highly recommend Acori for everything!... more

I had a very positive experience buying a diamond engagement ring at Acori Diamonds & Design. Connie was very friendly and helpful, making good suggestions while letting me make the decisions. The end product turned out really beautiful and my fiancée really likes it. Moreover, when I contacted them more recently about finding insurance for the ring their response was quick, friendly and helpful. When it comes time to buy wedding bands in a few months, we'll be heading back to Acori. more

When my Grandmother died she passed on some loose diamonds she'd collected over her long life. There were 5 of them and we all got one, each of them about 2 carets and all very clear in quality. Well my siblings had already sold there's and I was planning to keep mine, which was the prettiest IMO, but I lost my job last year and it's been hard raising our child in this economy so I decided to let it go. I went to a few places until I happened upon Acori Diamonds & Design. I thought maybe they could do something with it and I was right, they buy diamonds, gold and silver. So we visited and Billy checked out my diamond which he said was highly desirable. Honestly i didn't take his offer right away as I was temporarily blinded with hopes of the most money for my ""highly desirable"" diamond, but after going to a few more places I quickly realized the offer Billy made was substantially more than anyone else would. So I went back and thank God was still able to make the sale. Thanks Billy. more

What a Wonderful store. You're greeted with a smile and a wide selection. The prices are very reasonable and you can always find something in your budget. What I like most about Avori is it is a family run business and its hard to find that kind of quality service and attention to detail from the mall stores. I was just in there and every time I stop buy I always find something new that I like. It's just a really nice environment to forget the world and shop for treats. more

Personal Attention & Fabulous Jewelers, I love Acori Diamonds and have been going there for years under the old name before the owners got Married. They have the best staff who really are generous with their knowledge and interest in your objective. They worked with us when we bought our engagement rings and had little to spend. Whenever we need gifts for anyone we know where to find the perfect item- they have the best website too. I would say even if your on the other side of Houston it's well worth your while to make the drive to see Connie and Billy the owners of Acori Diamonds & Design. You Will Not Be Dissapointed... more

What I;m saying is when I bought these odd pieces of jewelry over the years was far less than the gold is worth now. So not only did I reclaim my original money but I almost doubled it. A word of caution, pawn shops and gold buyer specialists where that's all they do, will not pay you as much as Acori. I know because I shopped all those places and ended up doing business with Billy at Acori. more

Every since I graduated and moved out of state my Mom has been going on and on about this Jeweler and the deals they have on high-end jewelry. She never explained a big part of those deals are as result of the fact they are a Master Jeweler family run business and can actually make anything you desire out of gold & diamonds. And since they also buy gold & diamonds they have allot of resources to work with. I'm sure on furure visits with the folks we'll be doing allot more shopping at Acori Diamonds since we have so much fun there. more

My sister and I love supporting small businesses. Everything from Co-op and Swap meets to high quality family run jewelers like Acori, and when it comes to Jewel Smiths and Jewelers you'd be hard pressed to fine a better, more personable and professional one in Houston or anywhere else.. more

We had Acori make an entirely unique ring based on some ancient Egyptian drawings. The end result was unbelievably accurate and we couldn't be happier with the craftsmanship. Although a reproduction, is a fantastic addition to an already extensive private collection. more

After almost a week stopping in at a bunch of gold buyers in my area, I found to my surprise that Acori Diamonds pays the most and they were honest. We found another that paid as high, but they claimed it was less weight in gold - since the ring had both silver and gold. So Acori Wins my gold. more

I found the most incredible silver and gold tennis bracelet at Acori Diamonds, it was a one of a kind that they had bought from someone needing the money more and it was just too nice to melt. When I saw it I was so drawn to it I wasn't sure how I was going to have it but I knew I needed it :-) So we worked out a deal where I traded in a ring and a necklace I don't have much sentimental value for with some cash and I now have the most unique and fantastically beautiful bracelet that I love so much I don't even want to take it off. more
