My car was involved in a rear end collision on the service road off the LIE. Ace towing came to tow my car and offerd to bring it to their autobody shop for repairs. They told me they do a lot of repairs for Atlantic Honda so I felt comfortable in letting them do the repairs. They told me it would take 3-4 weeks. 11 weeks later I still don't have my car back. I call them every week and they promise me it will be done by the end of next week but next week never seems to come. They have every excuse in the book for why it is not done. At 10 weeks they were still ordering parts for the car - one part was a part that was needed before they could even begin with the repairs. Shouldn't that have been one of the first parts ordered? I am looking at a $2000 car rental expense - above and beyond what the ins co has already paid - with no end in sight. Cons: lack of work and a lot of lip service more

I had an accident on the LIE and was towed to ACE collision. They pressured me to sign authorization to fix the car and stressed that they were an authorized Nissan collision auto shop. I agreed to let them fix it and thats when my troubles really began after survivng a terrible accident. My insurance company accessed the situation and estimated 3 weeks for completion. I am now 2 1/2 months from the accident and still don't have my car. In fact the company had called today telling me that the Car needs a new transmission that they said was unrelated to the accident and will require another $4,000.00 on top of the $8,000.00 that the issurance paid to them. The interesting part is that after 2 1/2 months in their shop, the only option that was provided me ...was getting the car towed to my house. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE FRAUD and STAY AWAY FROM ACE COLLISION. Cons: They take your money and don't fix your car. Instead they tow it to your house after they recieved the insurance money. more

brought in a brand new Infiniti FX for a front bumper skin repaint . Not only did they do a terrible paint job with areas you could see though and blotchy areas but there was overspray and tiny bumps in the clearcoat . The tape job was so bad the paint got in the seam and has allready begun flaking. BUT they put a terrible dent in my rear passenger quarter panel and a an additional dent in my rear bumper skin . The arguement that followed to get them to fix it turned ugly and they calimed I brought it in that way . I now have a not so brand new infiniti that was literally raped by them . I wouldn't go there if they did the work free . AVOID at all costs , these people will make your car worse than when you brought it in . more
