We have been taking our 5 cars to Gil at Accurate Automotive for the past 4 yrs. We are a busy family but we never have a problem getting our vehicles in or out for service and repair. They offer awesome customer care, great repair work, and above all integrity. They have always been honest about all situations and work with you in the best way possible. We not only have Japanese cars but American made, as well, which they have worked on with great results. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reputable place for car repairs. more

I needed to find out what was wrong with my car as we were going away for the holiday weekend. I called a couple of automotive companies that stated they were too busy to look at my car that day. I found this company's information on the AAA web site and tried them as well. I spoke to Gilbert and explained that my the engine was racing and making a clicking noise when I pressed on the gas pedal. He said that I could bring it in that day and he would look at it for me. When I arrived to his shop I was taken back by the cleanliness and how organized everything seemed to be, not typical for an automotive shop. He took my keys and said he would call me in a couple of hours after checking out the vehicele. Sure enough two hours later he called and explained to me in detail that I had a cracked exhaust manifold which was causing the problems I was having. He also suggested I replace the serpentine belt that was cracked and worn. He did state that with 90k miles on the vehicle that this was not totally surprising as he has seen this before. Based on his explanation I felt comfortable with him doing the work that he felt was needed. He said he would have the work completed that afternoon and would call me when finished. Late afternoon Gil called and said he was done with the work and that I could pick up the vehicle. When I arrived Gil showed me the manifold that was broke in half and explained in detail what work he had performed. I was very satisfied with his explanation and the whole experience even though the bill was almost $1,000.00. more

Accurate Automotive Services are fast and efficient. They always do a very fine job. I've gone to them a few times now. I think they really know their Toyota's and have really good and knowledgeable mechanics. I highly recommend their services to anybody! more

My company is responsible for distributing and maintaining water service utilities throughout Ventura County. Our fleet of vehicles is subjected to some harsh road conditions and treatment, and we've been using Accurate Automotive Services for the last seven years to keep us on the road. They are an honest company, and really try to help us keep expenses down. For example, one time were were experiencing warped rotors in some of our service trucks. We thought this had to do with a combination of excessive weight and bad roads. We were worried that we were dealing with some major front end damage, but Accurate Automotive reassured us that the rotors only needed replacement. What we expected to be a huge expenditure, they were able to fix at a low cost. The mechanics at Accurate Automotive will always listen to what we identify as the problem, yet still do their own analysis before beginning work. They have never steered us wrong in the past, and I trust their judgement. Gil, the owner of Accurate Automotive, takes pride in what he does. He greets everyone personally, and treats you like you're part of the family. The lead mechanic, Robert, is very knowledgeable. He is there to help you, and in the rare instance that he can't, he will send you to someone who can. They may not always have all the answers, but will work for you to get them. You couldn't ask for a better auto shop. more

In their advertising, these guys claim to be an ASE Blue Seal of Excellence shop, but ASE confirmed to me just this morning that it is a bold-faced lie. They also illegally distribute flyers on parked cars in the area, creating litter and defacing our city. more
