I recently moved to CA and after reading many reviews of many moving companies, I decided on Acclaimed Movers . It was absolutely the best decision I could have made. The crew came to our house and gave us a written estimate. On moving day, the truck arrived promptly at 7:30am. The guys were very hard-working, friendly, efficient and careful. They worked non-stop until we were settled into our new home. There was no damage to any of our possessions and best of all, the price was exactly what we had been told. The job was done under the estimated time! We couldn't have chosen a better moving service to help us into our new home. more

California's Best Moving Company! 10/18/2010

It was such a great pleasure of meeting Garette and his crew this past Friday. They did a fantastic job moving me from my rental house in Camarillo, CA to my new house in Los Angeles, CA. They showed up on time, were extremely professional and courteous, and they were very careful with my items that were being moved. I've used this company in the past and have recommended them to many of my friends. Thanks for the great experience guys! more

Fantastic Movers! 10/8/2010

I absolutely loved working with Acclaimed Movers! These guys are great! We have moved five times in the last four years, and used other movers in the past. Lots of places ripped us off and broke a few items we care a lot about; some other local movers in the area took care of the other three moves, but complained about it the entire time. When it came to moving long distance from Moor Park, CA to Atlanta, GA this time, we did our homework. These movers really do deliver what they promise. We agreed on the price and that's exactly what we ended up paying. Not only did they bring all the stuff to wrap everything, but it was done right! They even took our clothing out of the closets and packed it without dirt or damage. They work quickly and efficiently, each guy introduced himself with a smile and a hand shake and they didn't complain at all. They really are the best movers around! more

Great Moving Company! 10/8/2010

I had a fantastic experience with Acclaimed Movers and Storage. I had to move as soon as possible for job relocation and Acclaimed helped me all the way through. I found Acclaimed by researching long-distance movers and I am so glad that I found them! The crew was very friendly, positive, hard working, and strong. The job was done quickly and I was very impressed! Thanks again Acclaimed! If I have another move I will be using Acclaimed! more

Provided a MOVE that they promised. Movers were good 9/4/2010

The crew and service rep Sean did a great job ? very professional, careful, and prompt. The pricing was very transparent and accurate. The crew accommodated us in moving a couple of furniture pieces around in order to decide on final placement. On the flip side of that same coin, the movers worked very quickly and efficiently and were early in arriving. The crew requested this review so did so due to the good job and service they provided us. more

This Los Angeles moving company was great. 9/4/2010

I was very scared hiring a moving company for my move from Santa Monica to Florida. All I heard from my friends who previously hired movers was that they lose things and damage things. This was NOT the case with Acclaimed Movers. I had an excellent experience with Kenny, Garrett, and (I forgot the other gentleman's name). They worked efficiently and carefully! They were worth every penny and more! I will definitely be recommending them to friends and hiring them again on my next move!? Unfortunately Im now in FL but when things get better will use Acclaimed to return. more

So Glad we USED this moving company 9/1/2010

I spent almost a month reading reviews and calling or e-mailing moving companies, and the process was so hard I put my info a web site and got bombarded. We were emotional about the move, since we were moving our daughter across the country, from California to Connecticut where she is moving to attend graduate school. I had many questions and specific concerns, the primary one begin delivery time, as we were flying to with our daughter to get her all moved in and set up in her new place. However, the delivery window with all of the movers was VERY wide, and it put us in a panic. Everyone was extremely helpful and understanding of our concerns. We were hoping for a delivery no later than August 26th, and imagine our pleasure when we received the call that delivery would be on the 24th! NOTHING was missing from the load, and we have unpacked now, and NOTHING is broken. I would HIGHLY recommend Acclaimed to anyone who needs support and a smooth move! AAA customers service is very true with this company. more

Excellent Move & Service! 8/4/2010

*****Personal update on this review and our move, Acclaimed Movers sent one of their reps back today to reattach a bed bolt that we noticed wasn't 100% secure. He brought everything he needed and put it back together and now it's perfect. What courteous, complete and over the top service. Merci Jamie, Simon and all the AM crew!***** This team was super courteous and they moved our things with deft hands and care from two locations in LA to our new abode. One tip is to make sure to be very detailed in your description of what you need. I underestimated how much time our move would take. It was worth every penny now that I know how much work had to be done. I'm happy with the job overall, and all of the guys were super friendly and easy to work with. Make sure to have your own tape on hand, or you can buy it from them for $3/roll so no big deal. They bring blankets, dollies and everything else! more

I am very happy with the professional move. 7/30/2010

Cesare and his team were on time, neat, and very professional. They were upfront about everything that a move entails, and delivered 100% what they informed us it would be. They were courteous and friendly and what ever we asked them to do they did without issue. They gave us the estimate upfront and then calculated the cost as time moved on. They packed everything neatly and were very careful with our flat screen TV and other electronics. They packed our Art carefully. When they unloaded the truck at our home they were equally careful placing everything where we told them to. I would highly recommend this crew. In fact as soon as our new apt is renovated we will have them return to our house and move everything back into Santa Monica. Pros: Courteous, careful, professional. Cons: Not really. more

AAA Company 7/30/2010

I researched City Search and narrowed it down to Acclaimed and Flat Rate, since both had the most positive reviews. I decided to go with Acclaimed because I was quoted a decent price (cheaper than Flat Rate) and they were more courteous on the telephone. Pros: A+ Company. Handled my stuff with care. Cons: nothing more

Pleased with movers 7/13/2010

I am very meticulous about my furniture so when the movers showed up and wrapped my furniture very well and were not in a rush, I could not have been more happy. The service was excellent and I tipped them well for their extra care and patience. Best move and I have gone through 5 moves in 12 years and this has been hands down the best experience. They provided my moving needs 7/12/2010

I came from out of town with my apartment from New Mexico in a Uhaul. They unloaded carefully and politely listened to all my needs. They put everything where I wanted it and set it up. Whatever I wanted they did without hesitation. The movers understood the meaning of customer satisfaction. I also liked the fact that I talked to the owner, Sara in setting everything up. She has a personal stake in the job going right. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Acclaimed Movers. Pros: On Time and lissened to my needs more

These are the worst movers I ever had 7/10/2010

I would never use them. The charged us 2.5 times their estimated, made us pay cash or they would not even let us get our furniture. Be careful if you don't want to get ripped off and get your furniture really damaged. i think they must be writing their own reviews. BEWARE, amd move on to the next mover. Cons: The made us pay cash, charged us way more than the bid more

Very professional Movers 7/5/2010

After the smoothest move I could have possibly imagine this weekend, I simply cannot recommend Acclaimed Moving more highly. I have moved several times in the city, and have seen average to really horrible movers, but upon the recommendation of a friend, I chose Acclaimed moving and am more than pleased. The team showed up right on time and was friendly, accommodating, and very professional. They checked in with me periodically to make sure everything was done as I wished, but otherwise worked quickly and had the whole move done in record time. They were very careful to make sure nothing was damaged/bumped/scraped, and they also had the necessary for my building. The rates are reasonable, and the team is the best. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and would recommend Acclaimed for any move, big or small! Pros: Efficient, friendly and professional with reasonable rates. Cons: Couldn't ask for better service! more

AAA for these Acclaimed Movers 7/3/2010

I would highly recommend these movers. Wow! All I can say is wow! These guys made my move so incredibly easy. I was moving into a luxury condominium building that has very strict insurance requirements. A man named Sean from the mover's office immediately contacted me once I accepted their bid. He and I were in contact the entire time up until the day of the move. He was available all of the time and even responded to my e-mails on weekend. He was extremely helpful in providing all of the paperwork my building needed. He worked directly with the management company and I did not even need to be involved. About a week before the move I needed to add my big screen TV to the job. No problem all around was so easy. Will call when I need a mover again..... I recommend Acclaimed Movers and Storage 7/2/2010

My husband works insane hours which left 'the move' in my hands. I had a great experience with Acclaimed Movers. Mine was a manual move only (moving units in the same building so no van required) but I have some large furniture pieces that require extra maneuvering and skill (and maybe some creativity). I came across Acclaimed Movers through citysearch reviews. Their office team was extremely prompt with getting back to me (a pleasant surprise as another company did not respond to an email and follow-up voice message). Jake & Cezar were punctual, efficient and friendly. All of my furniture was moved in one piece and they took extra care to tend to more valuable items, and to make sure not to scratch the apartment floors and walls. I was very appreciative of their patience and relaxed attitude when we encountered an unexpected elevator mix-up with other tenants (this helped calm my stress). I recommend their services (and that prospective customers offer their movers a beverage-these guys work up a sweat!). A seamless experience overall. I wish unpacking was this easy. The staff is attentive and genuinely helpful 7/2/2010

Acclaimed was worth every penny. If you look through my additional reviews, you will see the prevalent theme as being service. I absolutely despise getting awful service for something I paid for. Acclaimed does not disappoint. The staff is attentive and genuinely helpful. I have a lot of glass and high end electronics that needed to be moved which while during my research on moving companies caused considerable nervousness. The staff at Acclaimed alleviated my concerns with precise answers to questions I had, attentive service and even a follow up conversation just to make sure everything I wanted and asked for was going to plan. The moving job ran about 3+ hours longer than we had anticipated and not once did I see any grumbling from the staff that was assigned to my job. They diligently performed the duties that were asked and even when I had random questions about the process and called the office, the person who answered the phone (a man whose name I forget) was familiar with the job responsibilities and walked me through how everything would work out. In my opinion finding a good moving company with an attentive staff both in and out of the office is like finding a good general contracting and construction company... They are few and very far in between, so when you find a good one like Acclaimed - I recommend you stick to it. Pros: The staff is attentive and genuinely helpful Cons: Went 3 hours over. more

Quick, efficient movers 7/1/2010

I moved yesterday, and these guys were super helpful and incredibly efficient. I was shocked by how quickly everything went. And when my mirror ended up left in the truck, I got an email notifying me and arranging a drop off time. Moving sucks, but these guys made it (almost) enjoyable. Fantastic moving with Acclaimed Movers 6/30/2010

The moving crew of Travis, Garrett, and Alberto were fantastic. They were on time, courteous, helpful and professional. They were all the nicest guys and did a fantastic job wrapping all the furniture and making sure to take care when moving all the items. They worked hard to get the job done as quickly as possible and didn't even take a break. I thought they should have stopped for lunch, but they didn't. I told them what a fantastic job they did and thanked them several times. One of my mother-in-laws neighbors saw their work and asked for a business card so she could use them in the future when needed. I would highly recommend Acclaimed Movers to anyone who is looking for a moving company. A big thanks to Travis, Garrett and Alberto for all their hard work and dedication and care they took with all my mother-in-laws furniture etc. I know my family across the country will be appreciate and will be thankful too that such care has been taken care with their things. Excllent Service all around 6/29/2010

Recently found Acclaimed Movers through a friend and could not be more happy with the service. Sean was our sales rep and consultant and he stayed with us the entire way, all through the process. From the initial estimation of items and price quote to personally following up with us during and after the move, this guy was like our own personal moving assistant. Once the movers arrived, they loaded quickly, we couldn't believe how fast it went. They were nice, professional, nothing sketchy about them which is what you get with some move companies. I know because this was my fourth large move! Acclaimed customer service called us to obtain feedback days after the move was complete and like I said, we couldn't be more impressed by the way things were handled. If I could, I'd give 10 stars to Sean, our movers and Acclaimed! Can't beat the price either. Give these guys a try and get a quote for your move! Pros: Amazing customer service. Cons: --- more
