I put my trust in Carlos 9/19/2007

I don't give Carlos much direction on how to cut my long hair, but just trust him to give me a good style. Over the 3+ years that I've gone to him, he has come to understand what I like and what would work best for me. I always am happy with the final result of my haircut. I appreciate his sense of style, enjoy his company while I'm getting my hair done, and applaud the care and attention he shows for his customers. Pros: attention to clients, cares about quality more

My hair just loves Carlos! Two years ago my hair was short and going no where. He shaped and trimmed my hair with lots of patience; and now...long, soft and silky hair!! Carlos is an 'artist' and knows how to treat his clients and their hair. Pros: Professional and fun environment Cons: None more

Simply the best 9/18/2007

I remember when Carlos and I used to work together we would have so much fun because we would challenge each other with creativity. Carlos would always add a little extra to create the most trendy designs. He is always giving that extra touch. Whether it be a Color, a haircut, a style and/or hair extensions, I guarantee you will have the best looking hair when you walk out of the salon. All the while he performs with the most upbeat and funny sense of humor that will only heighten your over all experience. Thank you for being thee fabulous Hair Angel in Beverly Hills. Curl Up and Dye KING!! 9/18/2007

I have been going to see Carlos for 6 years now, and despite several "scares" that Carlos may be leaving the area in the past, alas, THANK GOD, he is still here and I am still looking fabulous!!!!! Best color, cut, and style! I wouldn't want to think about going to anyone else! I let carlos do whatever he wants to my hair with color, and style, and I have never been disappointed after 10 plus different styles.....and 20 plus color enhancements You will be very happy with the price, the high profile salon, and the way people look at you, and envy your look! Thanks Carlos! ps...to put things into perspective....Carlos can take any straight guy, and move them to "metro sexual" status in less than an hour.....now that is saying something!!! The Search for your stylist/colorist is OVER! 9/18/2007

I have been going to Carlos for over a decade and I would never let any one else touch my hair. I was refered to him after giving up my brunette hair for a bad red dye job from someone else, and he saved me. I got compliments on my color EVERY DAY! No one else came close to the richness of a red he gave me. Besides his coloring skills :) his haircuts are amazing. I have ridicoulously thick long wavey hair, and if it's not cut just right, it doesn't work at all. Without Carlos's genious skills, I would now be just another brunette. But it's the style he's given me over these years that has literally made my hair stand out from the rest. Anyone I've refered to Carlos has never looked back. I suggest you give him a try, but don't get MY hair cut :) At the level of his expertise, anyone else would charge you HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS for what he does. He also always works with a VERY friendly and helpful staff. Pros: The best haircut or color you'll ever have. Cons: You can now say you get your hair done in Beverly Hills (haa,haa) more

BEST STYLIST EVER! 9/16/2007

I have really curly hair and I have never loved having curls until I saw Carlos. He really knows how to cut them and taught me how to make the most of my locks. I also love my color! He is has a great personality and is always open to changing my style when I want something new. I highly recommend Carlos... Just don't steal my appointment! :) more

Short hair, long hair, he's just the best. Color as natural or as flashy as you want. Always a love. Everyone at the Cottage is friendly. Lots of street parking nearby. Pros: nice ambience, welcoming people, easy parking Cons: none more

I've been going to Carlos G for nine years and counting. Not just out of loyalty but because he listens and remembers my hair no matter how much time passes in between cuts -- and he doesn't have a big ego either. He's great with long hair! I've followed him wherever he goes and you should catch him at The Cottage, which is a great place to beautify. more

Great Stylist! 9/13/2007

Carlos really knows his stuff! He truly knows what looks good on you. Whenever I leave the salon, I always get tons of compliments on my haircut and highlights. He also works really quickly, which is great if you haven't got a lot of time. I used to go elsewhere to get my hair done, and I'd spend half the day in the salon. When I found Carlos a few years ago, I was ecstatic because he's able to color and cut my hair in half the time. I won't go anywhere else ever again. I found Carlos on City Search and have not been disappointed! From day one he has done a great job every time. He knows what looks best on me so I don't get just a cookie cutter haircut. Best Haircut Ever! 9/13/2007

Carlos Gonzales is a master on what he does--no kidding. I consider my self to be extremely particular about my hair because I believe that hair is an extension of the self just like clothing is. Therefore, I require a hairstylist who understands this priority. I have seen many hairstylists throughout the numerous years I've lived in L.A. and no one has been attain the complete satisfaction that Carlos is able to deliver. He has the magic touch. Every time I sit on his chair it's an amazing experience because he's not only an excellent hairstylist, he also has a great sense of humor. I even have my mom, sister and brother to go see him for their haircuts and they all are very satisfied with his work, that's why he's been the family hairstylist for over five years now. I strongly recommend Carlos Cervantes because every time I leave his salon I leave with more confidence because I know that I look great. Carlos Gonzales makes America beautiful. more

Simply the Best! 9/13/2007

I live in the heart of Silicon Valley, CA and I can't wait for Carlos to visit to get my hair done! I have visited him several times at the Cottage and he's worked wonders on my hair (which is very thin and he somehow makes it look full and thick)! I also have a 9 year old daughter who had her 1st cut by him at age 4 and continues to get her hair cut by him. I do get trims from time to time when I'm not able to see him, however when it comes to color, highlight and style...he's my man! Thanks Carlos! more

Do you want compliments on your hair EVERY DAY? Seriously, if you do,you MUST go to Carlos! I can't say enough about him! I came to LA five years ago from PA. thinking I would never find someone to cut my hair like I did back home. It was very frustrating for me because when I find someone who cuts my hair well I stick with them forever. I jumped on Citysearch and the first name I saw was Carlos with one of the highest rating. Well this has to be good. I called for an appointment,which I got right away and went. Let me tell you I have NEVER had such a great haircut in MY LIFE!!! This man is a genius!!! Not to mention gorgeous,sweet and will make you feel right at home. He knows his stuff and will steer you in the right direction. I LITERALLY get compliments EVERY DAY on my hair. "Shear Genius" 9/12/2007

The man with the plan. No matter what mood I'm in or what event I have to go to, Carlos is definately on the ball with his ideas. Whether I have to go to a business formal and need to look the part or its a week off to N.Y. and I want to get a little crazy, he always has his vast range of knowledge and skills so that I always look my best. I've never met a stylist that always knew what I needed and how to carry it out. I feel very lucky to have found Carlos and won't trust my hair to anybody else. more

Best Hairstylist I found in Los Angeles 9/12/2007

I found Carlos about 2 years ago and he always does an excellent job on my hair. I always tell him to create and when I leave his shop people tell me I look like a superstar or model. He has an excellent eye and is very talented. Have been getting men's cuts w/ Carlos since 2004 - great guy, great job. Cuts are never too overdone/unnecessarily hip - Carlos listens to what you want, then executes. Props. more
