Absolute Carpet & Upholstery Care

They came at a moments notice to clean up the carpet in my rental unit and the tile in my house. They are quick and efficient. I was really satisfied with the work that they did - months later and it still looks great. I have recommended Absolute Carpet Care to my family and friends and they have loved the service as well. The owner asked me to write a review if I was satisfied with the work and I feel like it was something I can do to show my appreciation for their good service. Don't deserve your business. Here's why. (1) Fails to show up on time. In my case, twice! (2) Suckers you in with misleading advertising. You'll end up paying more than you think. (See the many complaints of this on Yelp.) (3) Customer service is disrespectful. On the phone, when I politely said, "In today's world, you can't treat customers this way and not lose business," the kid on the other side of the line responded, "I don't care." (4) Most likely has doctored the reviews on Google. (The Yelp reviews are overwhelmingly negative) Why not support a company that takes pride in their work and respects the customer? I recommend you take your business elsewhere. more

I bid on a gift certificate for carpet cleaning through this company at a charity event. It was for carpet cleaning for two rooms and a hallway. This company is a textbook example of bait and switch. I ended up getting less than one room done because of a convoluted explanation of the certificate. Greg, the manager, who said he wasn't the owner and then quickly said he was the owner once I asked to speak to the actual owner, was argumentative, demeaning, and rude. He flat out said, "We're not donating to charity again. It's too much labor and it's backbreaking work. We don't get anything out of it." Well, wouldn't you think he would already know this before donating a service to a charity fundraiser? In the end he wanted the company to get free advertising at a charitable fundraiser and then not have to honor the certificate. I've heard of cut-throat businesses, but to USE A CHARITY for your benefit instead of simply saying, "No, thank you. We don't want to contribute/participate," is morally wrong. Save yourself the headache, hire ANY other company and make them give you an estimate in writing with the terms of condition. Absolute Carpet Cleaning's management is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. The technician did a decent job, despite the company's low ethical standards. more

Greg and his team did a very professional job. Carpet Cleaning was very reasonably priced and his workers did a great job. Their tile cleaning was amazing. My house looks great. more
