MY ICEMAKER WENT OUT IN THIS MISERABLE WEATHER AFTER THE 4TH OF JULY. CALLED ABLE APPLIANCE AND THEY HAD SOMEONE OUT THAT DAY. THE SERVICE TECH NAMED JOHN, WAS ABLE TO FIGURE OUT MY PROBLEM IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES. LUCKILY HE HAD THE PART TO REPAIR THE ICEMAKER, AND I WAS UP AND RUNNING IN LESS THAN A 1/2 HOUR. VERY FAST AND HELPFUL SERVICE. WILL GLADLY USE AGAIN more

Able Appliance is the absolute BEST! He came out and figured out the problem right away, checked to see if there were any recalls or repair items on that model, got everything fixed really quickly. I'm never calling anyone else when I have an appliance problem! The best in KC by far.\r \r more

Able saved the day AGAIN, with our hot water heater. It started leaking and I called them in a panic. They instructed me over the phone how to turn the water off and then had a clean, courteous technician out to check on me within the hour. They gave me a great deal on a new hot water heater and did a great job on the install. Thanks Able! more

We have been trying to get our dishwasher fixed by Able for almost a month. They have to order a part-understandable. But they don't let you know so you wait days and have to call again to see what's up. Then they came with the part but it caused another issue with the dishwasher - not discovered until after they left with our money. They finally came out-said the unit was out of adjustment- shook it a little and left. Still not working and now they won't return calls. We're out 160.00 for labor and a part that does us no good. In this case, they are definitely UNable in our eyes!! more

Stove went out and I called Able Appliance repair and they sent a really young tech named Kyle out and I was a tad worried he was not experienced enough. No worries, he was great and had me cooking that evening...Ask for Kyle! more

BEWARE THEY ARE CROOKS!! 1/23/2012

Paid company $330 to misdiagnose fridge, waited 2 months and fridge still broken. Talked to owner about getting refund after being patient and without fridge for two months and got cursed out and even given their address threatening me to come down. I have been nothing but patient and could not believe the way the low life owner treats a paying customer simply wanting a resolution! BEWARE THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY YOU CAN DEAL WITH!! IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, THE OWNER WILL TAKE IT UPON HIMSELF TO CALL YOU AND SCREAM AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS THREATENING YOU AND CALLING YOU EVERY CURSE WORD KNOWN TO MAN!! CONSUMERS BEWARE LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A REPUTABLE COMPANY THIS OWNER IS A FELON CROOK!!! more

LG washer 1/14/2012

I have to tell you that this company is refreshing. I have a LG washer and of course the warranty had long gone and I was having a lot of issues with it. It took longer than I thought with the parts since it was an LG washer but with the experience with this company and the great service from Doug, as well as the affordable price, that I could afford, I would highly recommend this company and will always ask for Doug. more
