The guy's over at Van Dam's Carpet & Floor were very good at picking out what i needed for the job and the workers came on time to do the work. In the end they did a super job.

Always a good experience with Van Dam's! 3/4/2014

This is the 3rd time I have used Van Dam's Abbey Carpet & Floor. I originally needed them to be involved because of a flood. This job was a little more complicated than the previous jobs they had done for me because I used a different contractor. I personally called them and did not go through the contractor. I think that may have caused some communication issues that we not anybody's fault. My concern was a seem in the carpeting that seemed obvious. I called and spoke to Mr. Van Dam directly. I appreciate his willingness to deal with the customers even though he is the owner of the company. He himself came out the next morning. He said he called his two best guys personally to take care of the job. He also agreed with what I was seeing but explained that it sometimes takes a while for the piece to lay flat. He also said that if it did not lay completely flat that they would stand behind their product. I will continue to use Van Dam's in the future. I have always been happy with their service. more

Van Dam's Abbey Carpet & Floor put flooring in our home. They did a really good job and were very professional. I appreciate how well they cleaned up afterward. We liked them so much that we are having them come back next week to do more flooring for us. Everything looks beautiful. The quality of their work is impressive. more

Top notch 2/7/2014

Van Dam's Abbey Carpet & Floor has given us splendid service so far. I feel comfortable with them because they were highly recommended to me by my sister in law. I'm glad to support a local company like theirs. They're very reliable, communicative, and helpful. They helped us make the best decisions in selecting a new flooring for our kitchen, entryway, and laundry room. They also installed a beautiful new counter top for us and we're currently having them install a back splash as well. Everything has turned out wonderfully so far. The installers have all been polite, thorough, and competent. Laurie and Tony are professional and really know what they're doing. I'd strongly recommend them! more

Complete satisfaction! 2/4/2014

Upon walking into Van Dam Abbey Carpet & Floor I found them very professional. It was clear they wanted to provide me with the best possible experience. They were very quick to respond to my desire to have them come out and measure for the new carpet. The owner, Ben Van Dam, came out and did the measuring personally. They followed up the next day with the quote. From the very beginning to the end of the installation, it was only five days. They were very quick to respond all the way through. Their attention to detail was very good. The installers who did the work probably had about 50 years of experience between them. They were very careful, and it was amazing to watch them work. They were twins, and they hardly needed to speak to get the work done! It was amazing. More and more these days people are turning to buying local. And this experience again proved to me that local is the only way to go. You get more personal service and better attention to your needs when you go with a local business! more

Great timeliness and quality of work. 12/19/2013

Van Dam's Abbey Carpet & Floor did two separate flooring projects for me. They redid my hardwood floors, and they also redid my carpeting. They were great with their timeliness and the quality of their work. My only complaint is that there was an odor to whatever they used to install the hardwood floor. Other than that, it was a good experience. I would recommend them. more

Van Dam's Abbey Carpet & Floor installed the carpeting in our outdoor covered patio. We were extremely pleased with the quality of their services, as well as with the timeliness of their efforts. These things were what stood out the most about their service and really made us happy customers. more

Successful and satisfying! 9/17/2013

Van Dam's Abbey Carpet & Floor installed our carpet but while I was picking out carpet, they were very informative and answered a lot of questions about quality and different types of carpet. They were helpful in that aspect and then I had a separate question about our wood floor. They were helpful in trying to offer solutions--a task they were not paid for. Kathy K. more

They put carpeting in the bedroom, hallway, living, and family room. It came out wonderful. I called after the installers left and told them that whoever those two guys were who laid the carpeting, they're keepers--they were good. more

Exceptional service on all parts 8/16/2013

This was my first time using Van Dam's Abbey Carpet & Floor. They just put in new carpet and they did a nice job. Cordial, nice people and treated me nicer than I've ever been treated as customer in a long while. Told me everything I needed to know and what they would do. There were no delays and they had everything down pat. more

We had Van Dam's Abbey Carpet & Floor replace the flooring in our office with carpet tiles and tiling flooring. He kept to the schedule that he committed to and my office turned out looking great. I've used them before and came back because of their customer service and their reliability. more

Great job fitting the floor around the showers and sinks 7/24/2013

Just great experience, I would recommend Van Dam's Abbey Carpet and Floor to anyone. They just did a lower bathroom and utility room for us and then a small bathroom upstairs for us. They had to haul everything upstairs and they covered all the flooring on their way up and the floor looks wonderful. They did a great job fitting the flooring around the showers and toilets and they did a great job with both bathrooms! more

We have had really good experiences with them. Ben has been out here before and done measurements for us. We feel very comfortable with him. We've gotten to the point where we know his daughters when we go into the store now. Last time, they did tile for us, and somehow we got to talking about birds. They found out that we weren't really using our bird feeder, and they brought over a bag of bird seed for us to fill it up. They just do the little things that matter. My cats adore them and follow them around whenever they are here measuring. Steve, the guy that did the carpeting job for us, was so nice and worked so hard. We have a really difficult house to do because of the stairs but he did a lovely job. He cleaned up after himself and always asked to use the restroom. We couldn't have asked for nicer people. It's the same when you go into the store. They always have a smile when they greet you. more

Fantastic customer service and great work. Will use again. 6/10/2013

Van Dam's Abbey Carpet and Floor hung vertical blinds in our camping lodge. They did a total of eleven sets. The workers were pretty timely. There was confusion when they arrived about what work needed to be done so we had to pull out the invoice. So there was a miscommunication between the scheduler and the workers, which made me a little nervous. Then they did the work which was no problem. They didn't leave a big mess, but we did have to go back through and vacuum because of the demo work they had to do. I will continue to use their service. The work was still pretty good and their prices were reasonable. I'd tell other people that they have very friendly customer service. Abbey Carpet and Floors were very knowledgeable about what blind is best for your application and they provided an excellent product more

We've had a great experience with them. When the installers were here they were extremely good at explaining things to us and helped us with some other minor problems we had. All in all they were very friendly and very professional. more

Good job on the carpet. 5/9/2013

They've worked on three different projects for me. They are not complete with two of them yet. When they layed the tile down for one of the projects they were kind of sloppy. They made some mess on the cabinets and stuff like that. The carpet layers did a wonderful job. more

Excellent people and excellent experience! 5/1/2013

Office Manager, Lori, was superb in helping make selections, coordinate all installations, and change/additional work orders. All installation people were professional and very good at what they do. We installed carpet, tile, vinyl, and laminate for the entire house that is 3750 sq ft. Quality products and very competive price. more
