This is the 3rd time I have used Van Dam's Abbey Carpet & Floor. I originally needed them to be involved because of a flood. This job was a little more complicated than the previous jobs they had done for me because I used a different contractor. I personally called them and did not go through the contractor. I think that may have caused some communication issues that we not anybody's fault.
My concern was a seem in the carpeting that seemed obvious. I called and spoke to Mr. Van Dam directly. I appreciate his willingness to deal with the customers even though he is the owner of the company. He himself came out the next morning. He said he called his two best guys personally to take care of the job. He also agreed with what I was seeing but explained that it sometimes takes a while for the piece to lay flat. He also said that if it did not lay completely flat that they would stand behind their product. I will continue to use Van Dam's in the future. I have always been happy with their service.
