Abbey Bridal is a cute little shop in Andover, Ma. My dress was exactly what I was looking for, at the most amazing price. I also found the perfect bridesmaid's dresses in the budget I had set. I was satisfied with the overall service, some associates where nicer than others, but that tends to be the case everywhere. more

I bought two dresses here in the last four months, one for my daughter's wedding and one for my son's. They have the most elegant dresses for Mothers that I have seen anywhere. For the first wedding I wanted a short dress, so I was thrilled to find a line of dresses at Abbey's that could be ordered in knee length, tea length as well as long. For the second wedding I was able to find a long dress with a totally different look, that I love just as much. The sample dresses are large sizes, but Amy, my salesperson took the time to pin each one so I could see what it would look like on me in size 4, no easy task. She could not have been more helpful. If you are looking for a Mother's dress, I strongly recommend Abbey's Bridal. more

I went into Abbey's after a longggg day of dress shopping and didn't have much hope left. From the moment I walked in I knew I liked this place. The women at the front desk were extremely welcoming and quick to help me. I started off with a very nice girl (I can't remember her name) who was really helpful and listened intently to what I was looking for. She helped another girl, Mary, pick out dresses that they thought I would like.\r \r When it came to trying on the dresses I worked with Mary. She was absolutely amazing (friendly, considerate, helpful, etc). I can't say enough about her or the others in the shop on Saturday, September 22. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything and Mary took the time to make suggestions on things I could add or remove if I wanted. I finally narrowed it down to 2 dresses that I absolutely loved...Mary told me to think about it because it was a big decision. The best advice I probably could have gotten at that point.\r \r I went home and couldn't stop thinking about the dresses so I called as soon as I knew they were open on Tuesday. I made an appointment for Thursday with Mary. Again, she was more than helpful and patient. I didn't feel rushed at any point in time that Saturday or Thursday. Thursday the girls that were there were trying to help my mom find a dress too. It was overall just a great experience. I bought my dress at Abbey's and I am looking forward to working with the girls, especially Mary in the future with alterations and possibly bridesmaids dresses. Thank you for a wonderful experience...I am more than thrilled and definitely grateful!!! more

I bought my dress over a year ago, but I just got married this month. My sister and I both bought our prom dresses here years ago, so I had a good feeling about them. The women who work there were all super sweet and really understood the kind of feel I was going for. I had been to three other salons previously and did not feel the same. The woman I worked with brought out 10 dresses that were all very good matched for what I wanted. In fact, I had been searching for a particular dress for two years and could not find it anywhere, but when I came here, I found its cousin. I am very happy with my dress that I bought here. more

Low pressure, friendly & helpful. I made and appointment here to look at bridesmaid dresses with my sister. Although we did not end up buying there that day, they were very helpful, friendly and more importantly, not intimidating! The layout of the store is not cluttered and congested like some shops - lots of room to breathe. They were also helpful in understanding our price point, and helping us to locate dresses that were at the point. If I did not already have my dress, I would love to shop here. more

A wonderful experience. On our second day of dress shopping for my daughter's wedding, my sister and I walked into Abbey's. We were introduced to Meredith who takes care of all Mothers of the Bride. She helped me pick out about 12 dresses to try on. I was thrilled that the dresses were all size 14 so it felt good when she pulled the dress in tight to fit instead having the dress be too small to begin with. Meredith helped us narrowed down the search to 4-5 dresses. She offered comments but I did not find her pushy. Eventually I decided on the dress which really was an easy decision because the dress made me feel beautiful the first time I tried it on. I did have to pay an extra $40 to rush the order since I was late in picking out my dress. When the dress came it, it fit perfectly and I did not need any alterations so I cannot address how that may have worded out. Meredith was also very helpful in choosing the type of shoe I should wear and what jewelry would compliment the dress. I would encourage a mother of the bride to visit this dress shop. more

    I recently went into Abbey with my friends to find my wedding dress and we had the best experience!
    The young lady that waited on me was friendly, funny and kind. She brought out about 5 dresses at first and then brought more as we narrowed down what style dress I liked. They give you a bra corset and pretty coat with shoes as well and the store was very clean and kept up. The prices of the dresses were awesome as well. None of the dresses were over a thousand and the quality of the dresses was very nice too. Once I narrowed it down to two dresses my consultant helped me pick out a veil and tiara. It was truly an amazing time
