Enrique was most pleasant to do business with. He took the time to take me back home to Sunland once I had my car towed to their shop for my trans to be rebuilt. I was going out of town and had to leave to the airport the same day in which Enrique picked me back up and took me to the airport so I wouldn't have to pay for a taxi. He brought my car to the airport when I came back also and I was able to drive my car for a few days to confirm all was well before paying my bill. I have never experienced that above and beyond service from a shop before. more

Is it possible that I found the best repair shop in L.A?!?! Ok, I've had my share of positive and negative experience with mechanic shops as to regular maintenance stuff but I've never had a transmission problem. Oh man..it's a whole different animal. I had to get my transmission rebuilt on my 2000 Mustang. After visiting other shops it was obvious that these guys know what they are doing. They took the time to answer every question I had and never undermined me or made me look like a fool. You get that a lot at other places. A day after I told them to start fixing the car, Enrique (cool dude), actually invited me to the room where the transmissions get worked on. He had the mechanic explain to me what was going on with my transmission. The guy had the entire thing completely disassemble, wow. He explained how it works, what went wrong and the parts I was gonna need...kind of a show and tell. Very professional. They called me a few days to pick up the car and that weekend I drove it to Vegas with no problem. Transmission works great! They may not be the cheapest but they definitely know what they are doing. I've had friends who have had their transmissions done elsewhere and they end up having problems or having to do the job all over again. I feel 100% comfortable recommending this place. These guys are down to earth, no pressure, non pushy sales guys. more

Ok so my Mustang was running a little funny and decided to bring it to AAMCO Glendale. I had a good experience with them before. What was the difference this time? Nothing. These guys are still great. The work was completed as promised and when I picked up my car they had it ready and even washed my car. more
