Review of Kenneth A, Plumbing, ARS - Houston North 7/12/2015

When we have any plumbing issue, we specifically call and request Kenneth, and only Kenneth. He was just out here doing a water heater repair. He is the only plumber we are willing to call for help. That's because we value his experience, his integrity, and the reliable high quality of the work he does. Quality and experience are so important with plumbing. He has done a fine job taking care of our house's plumbing needs, from maintenance to repair to replacement. I recommend him most highly (I won't call anyone else). more

HVAC Tech Repair 7/7/2015

Mr. Chuong did wonderful job. He really help and showed how to save money on certain part of the house. I appreciate that he took the time to fix and honor the warranty of A/C unit we had bought from ARS Rescue Rooter. He took his time and was polite and neat when entering our home and we appreciate the extra things he did for us. The previous crew left a dirty job upstairs, but Mr. Chuong cleaned up there mess and made sure everything was neat and he didn't have to do it but he insist which is why I would recommend Mr. Chuong Vo again indeed. more

Home AC Repairs 6/17/2015

My tech was Mr. Oscar number 101. Mr. Oscar was absolutely wonderful on the job. He took his time to explain to me what the problem was, he gave professional advice on how to keep my ac running, and I liked how he invested so much time in this project. It was a very hot weekend and day that he came out and repaired my AC and even though he worked in the hot sun he still had a very positive attitude and outlook on the entire situation. Which made me feel at ease and safe that he new what he was doing and talking about. I have used ARS before and my past. My experiences have always be good, but this experience really was the best. Mr. Oscar is great at what he does and when he makes a promise he sticks to it and will let you know that everything will be alright. I felt very comfortable and was pleased with his work. Should something ever go wrong again I would like Mr. Oscar to come to make the repairs, or give a new product, or even just give advise. Mr. Oscar rocked!!! I'm glad he was in my corner and was in my best interest. Thank you ARS for sending Mr. Oscar I truly appreciate the talent! more

The ARS people respond pretty quickly when we have called them out. They give us good professional service and in general take care of out company's maintenance needs without a lot of fuss. The representatives are always friendly and go the extra mile to help us. We really appreciate their service. more

ARS Wonderful Technicians, Terrible Appointment Keeping 1/16/2015

ARS consistently has the best technicians we've had in Houston. Their ability to keep appointment times is terrible, as morning appointments turn into the tech coming at 4PM. We canceled using them a few years ago due to the booking issue, but came back due to their technicians. However, their technicians are very honest, kind, and do excellent work. Hopefully they can do a better job in the office of keeping appointment times more

Rating of HVAC service 12/9/2014

I have Al.R/487 for my service for a number of years. Al does a fantastic job of providing service for all of my AC and Heating needs. He is very very knowledgeable of the job and I have no doubt that the service was performed with the highest quality. Customer service is his number 1 concern. During the visit, he realized that when my new service was installed, the installer had closed off the vents to a portion of my house. He corrected the problem. Excellent customer service. Great employee and a credit to your company. more

We're at Home Depot recently and they had a booth. We had a backed-up main and deiced to use them instead of my husband. They did a great job! They came in a timely fashion and my tech was polite and gave extra advice about maintaining my system. Decent price. more

Great Service 1/11/2013

Peter W. has been servicing our A/Cs and heaters for about 5 years. He is always careful in our home, checks the equipment completely, makes suggestions for improvements and is courteous. I request Peter each time we have our units serviced because I feel that he is honest. more

Plumbing Service 11/19/2012

If you desire a professional and knowledgeable Plumbing technician, I recommend Emilio #971 from ARS/Rescue Rooter of Austin. Emilio is very courteous and patient. He took the time to explain his major steps along the way. Emilio completed 5 major tasks in approximately a day and half. I was never left in a lurch or inconvenienced at all. Emilio #971 is a true professional. more

Avoid ARS at all cost!!!!! 11/13/2012

They deserve 0 stars, but that's not an option. This is the singular worse company that I have ever dealt with. American Home Shield runs a close second. My hot water heater went out in July. It took ARS 5 days to replace it, which is about as long as it worked. Withing 1 week I was trying to call them to fix the brand new water heater. Another several days past and I only got a response because I called their corporate office in Memphis. Their repair lasted 3 months and now it's broken again. Despite the fact that we called them at 7:30 this morning to come out, and despite their repeated promises that first they'd be here in the morning, then the afternoon, then the evening, at 9:16 pm they are no where to be seen. I've dealt with bad companies, but none so brash about their total disregard for their work, its absolute lack of quality and any pretense to stand behind it. Avoid this company at all cost, you've been warned. Believe me the only positive reviews on this board are by employees trying to improve their deplorable reputation more

Peter Wabbel has been my service techician for the last several inspections, and I have gotten to the point where I ask for him by name. Peter shows that he knows the A/C business and demonstrates that he is conscientious about his work. When it comes to safety of my home and my family, I appreciate that characteristic. more

We needed to have a garbage disposal replaced. Steve C came out, checked it, got a new garbage disposal and 15 min later all was done. No prob, no fuzz, no dirt. this guy knows his business. Ask for him. he is awesome sobkotex more

Great Service and the Extra Mile 10/10/2012

Randall, we called him our angel Gabriel, serviced our two main heating systems, and then cleaned out my garage apartment heating/cooling unit, which was stuck on cooling because the remote had broken. He jury rigged my remote control so I could turn the unit on heating, air conditioning or off as needed, and found the model # of my heating/cooling unit so I could order a new remote on line. Then, when he heard that Texas Gas Company wouldn't come out to check on whether gas was getting to our swimming pool heater, he went out and checked it and found that it was. This was all part of a standard fall service call to check out two heating units plus the room heating/cooling unit. No extra charges for all the extra tasks, and he took the time to make friends with our two barking dogs. Great technician, a delightful gentleman and willing to go the extra mile. We had a contract with ARS to the entire house call was free. more

Kitchen faucet leak 10/8/2012

Leak in faucet cause water damage and resulting mold under kitchen sink. Exisitng faucet repaired and subsequently the faucet had to be replaced. Jake went the extra mile, making several trips to find the part for the original faucet, repairing the faucet, installing a new disposal (which was rusting out), and finally installing a new faucet fixture once the original faucet continued to leak. more

Tankless Heater Installation 9/5/2012

My Service Specialist was great (christopher), they were very polite & courteous, I worked from home and they were very respectful of my work space and quiet. He was patient with many questions and took the time to make sure I understood everything. Thanks! more
