Service with a sense of urgency 7/22/2011

Mike S. was a great handyman. He came to my home and realized the urgent need of my roof (sealing) due to recent storm activity. He was able to move around his schedule to meet my immediate needs. It is such a relief that I don't have to worry about my roof when the rains come in. Thanks, AndyOnCall! He is currently handling a special-order for French Doors on my behalf as well. more

Great job, looks great! 7/18/2011

I needed to get access to an upstairs shower so we cut a hole about a foot wide by four feet long and had the plumbers get in there and work. I needed somebody to repair the wall when they were done. I called Andy OnCall Marietta. The lady on the phone said that he'd call me back between a certain block of time, however, I never heard back from him. I called again, and this time I got him on the phone and explained what I needed. He came out and repaired the wall and it looks great! I'd use his services again. more

Fantastic first experience! 7/17/2011

I found myself working from home waiting for the AC repairman to show and decided I'd look for a handyman service to schedule someone to come look at my projects and give me a quote. Little did I even think that someone could come out that day! But Billy arrived at my house an hour after I called! I reviewed with him the projects I needed done and he estimated $225 and 3 hours of time. When I asked how soon I could schedule an appointment for him to come back out to do the repairs he said that he could do them right then! Wow! He finished within the time quoted and for slightly lower than his estimate! While he was working on my repair projects, the AC the showed up and figured out and repaired my AC problem. They both finished up within 15 minutes of each other. So within 5 hours from finding Andy On Call online, all my projects were completed! Amazing! more

Mike was wonderful. He arrived exactly on time, did excellent work on a variety of jobs I needed done around the house, and cleaned up any mess made as a result of the work he had to do. He was both professional and friendly, and I would definitely call him again. more

Timely, courteous, and professional 7/4/2011

Mike arrived as expected and repaired a flush mechanism and installed a new ceiling fan. He overcame minor problems from the original fan falling from the ceiling. He was courteous, friendly, and a true professional. The cost was reasonable and as promised on the estimate. I have used Andy On Call several times and would not hesitate to do so again. more

Bobby was on time and a fast worker. 6/25/2011

I needed Drywall work in my utility room. Bobby showed up right on time, gave me a written estimate, came back in 30 minutes and the job was completed in 15 minutes. We discussed a Home Improvement project and he was very honest about what he could/could not do (due to insurance liability). His office found a specialist to do what he could not and he will do the rest. This was set up in minutes. A pleasure doing business with them. more

Ron showed up exactly when they said he would. He quickly evaluated the plumbing situation. He showed care for my health by checking the leaked area for excessive mold. He will come tomorrow to complete the project so you will probably see another post marveling on the way the job was completed since he presented himself so professionally!! more

I had an electrical issue (lights and outlets not working) and called our home warranty company to fix. They called an electric co. and sent out a technician who could not find the problem. The electric co. wanted my permission to cut holes in the drywall (at $125.00 per hr.) so they could diagnose the problem. I called Andy On Call and spoke with Steve about cutting the drywall and he wanted to take a look at the electrical also. He and Ron came to the house and within minutes had not only diagnosed but repaired the problem. NO drywall was harmed!!!! I've also used Andy On Call for fence repair and plumbing. They are knowledgeable and super courteous and I can't say enough about them. I now have their number on speed dial!!! more

I had Ron do several small jobs repairing door frames, adding protector guards to the door, installing an additional electrical outlet in our pantry, fixing the front door lock, extending a condensation line, and a few larger projects including installing a door dog, mounting a TV on our porch and installing four additional electrical outlets on our porch. All jobs were completed on-time and to our satisfaction! I will definitely use their services again. more

We needed to have a retractable screen door installed, a garden tub regrouted and a flag pole hung. The retractable screen door had been installed before by someone else who did it incorrect (not Andy on Call). We bought a new one and tried to install it ourselves and decided it was too big of a job. Gary came in reviewed the instructions went and go the supplies and went to work. Now the door actually closes and no more bugs are getting in!! He match the grout up perfectly and I finally have my flag pole up, only two and half years after buy it! Really impressed with Gary!! more

Andy OnCall had Mike come in and do a half-wall job for us in preparation for hardwood floors for the kitchen and living room. He was professional, clean, and did excellent patching on the walls. He was going to try to move an outlet for me, but couldn't and he was able to explain why, so I definitely thought he was excellent, and I would definitely use him again. I couldn't even tell where the repairs where! It was as if nothing had been there, it was seamless! So yes, I was very happy! more
