The work started well with a father/son duo performing simple carpentry. I paid them, even added a small tip, then asked them to bid on another project inside the house. The father appeared anxious to work, gave me an estimate on the work and I agreed to his price. The job turned into a sloppy, hit-or-miss rush job that ended that first day because he needed to attend his son's soccer game. I paid the father, in full, that day because he promised to return the next day and complete the job(sanding, painting, molding replacement, and cleanup. He never returned. Also, early on, Andy's francise owner had agreed to complete a window project at my house. I called several times about the project and heard only promises and more promises from his wife. He never returned my calls. In my opinion, this is not a reliable or professional business. Apparently, they have no interest in customer service or word-of-mouth advertising. I have certainly updated my neighbors regarding my experience. more

Experienced and Professional Company 11/20/2009

I called Andy OnCall when a DIY job didn't go as planned. They came and looked at my mess(as I called it)with tile and grout, assured me it was no problem to make it right. Very polite and courteous when I called and when they came to my house (never once said I should have called them first), although I know they had to be thinking that way. I now know if I want a professional looking job I will call Andy OnCall for all my home repair needs. more

We have used this company a number of times for repairs to our home. They have always been dependable and thorough. I have not found anything they do not do. I appreciate the effort they and the office staff put out to make sure we are satisfied with the work. more

Competent and flexible 11/19/2009

I have utlized the services of Andy OnCall for a number of years. Their service has been excellent, adapting to my schedule, procuring materials and keeping my best interest at heart. This "family" operation definitely strives to satisfy the customer. I had one repair that did not solve the problem, but when I called, they were right back out and took care of the problem. They have been in one location for as long as I have been here, and they have the same people year after year. They must be doing something right. more

Honest 11/19/2009

I need several improvements just to maintain a normal home in Maumelle. I have plumbing issues..roof issues, and pet doors and garage doors even the front door. There are unusual jobs..like the crawl space door...or rotted wood facia that I have used ANDY ON CALL for. The price was fair...(not cheap) but fair. No fluff. No person ever tried to over sell me..or up grade me..more than I was ever comfortable with. After about 5 or 6 years of using this family owned business I am on a first name basis and they show up..and repair many little issues I have. I would recommend them. I will need to eventually use Andy on Call to replace some windows...and also..repair some interior wall issues..that are the result of a roof leak. I can trust them. They are a mom and pop business and I have the kind of relationship whereby they can come and go inside my house..and I don' have to worry about being at home or...being ripped off. It is a more honest...non big time "mark up" type business. Turn around is normal...if not faster than normal. Price is fair. I would recommend Randy and Gwen as they have longevity and lower than normal attrition in that they seem to keep their employees..longer than most repair companies. more

I had a home listed and my seller's had already moved. The buyer's needed something completed but the part was not in. Randy at Andy On Call got me an estimate in less than 24 hrs and put the part in within 48 hrs of receiving it. It is a great asset to provice my clients when repairs are necessary. more

A great experience: excellent service and very attentive. 11/6/2009

I started using Andy OnCall about 6 years ago when I needed some work done on different areas of the house. They are a one-stop way of getting everything done because they have the ability to do such a variety of work, from electrical to plumbing to roofing. My experience with Andy OnCall has been great. They are one big family: Randy's wife answers the phone, Randy is the head craftsman, and his boys work for him. All of the work that they have done for me has been good. They have installed fans, fixed leaks in toilets, and worked on the garage. When I needed to have some turbines put on the house and Andy OnCall could not do it, Randy was able to recommend someone who could. He has knowledge of a lot of different service providers and gives good recommendations. Andy OnCall has given me excellent service and been very attentive to my needs. As a real estate agent, I use Randy with Andy OnCall personally for residential repairs, plumbing, and handyman work, and I also refer him to my clients. Randy does a great job. He is so good about coming out to do the estimate and showing up on time, when he says he will be there. He is very accommodating in terms of working with my schedule. His office staff also is great. I feel comfortable having Randy and whomever he is working with in my house even when I am not there.
