The people from AJ Wells Roofing are very personable and willing to answer any question that you have. Other companies want you to put the money down before the work is done, but they are not like that. The roofers and everyone else were friendly and helpful. I have recommended AJ Wells Roofing to my mom, and she had her roof done by them as well. more

My roof had suffered hail damage during the storms last summer, and I noticed that all my neighbors were getting their roofs done sequentially. Then, I started getting bombarded with letters from roofing contractors that said my neighbors were getting their roofs done and that I should call for an estimate. I went through at least four or five of those letters, but none of them resonated with me. The letter I got from AJ Wells Roofing said the same thing, but what made me look and pay attention was that it said that chances are the damage to my roof was probably covered by my insurance, and that they were experts in dealing with insurance companies, so it was likely I would incur little to no expense out of my own pocket to get it done. I hadn't even thought about that, so I decided to call my insurance company, and they said that it did in fact sound like it was covered, and that's how AJ Wells got their foot in the door. It was ingenuous, and I was surprised that other companies didn't do that too, and I told them so when I called them. The experience I had with AJ Wells Roofing was good. Every step of the way they were very responsive, and the crew was very professional. They were in and out in a couple of days, and they did a really good job. The other thing I was really impressed with is that, because it is an insurance claim, it has taken a long time to get the money from the insurance company. The insurance company can't just issue the check to me or to AJ Wells Roofing, they have to go through the mortgage company because they have a stake in the house, and that delays the process. I'm still trying to pay them off for the work, which was completed at the end of December, and now it's February, but they're totally fine with it. They told me they know the money is coming and that they will be patient, so I didn't have to worry about it. It has all been good. It is a good company. more

I have recommended AJ Wells Roofing to many people. Gus came over and told us what would happen with the insurance company and how to present all the paperwork to the bank. He guided us and that really helped. Due to his help things went smoothly and I was able to hand him a check when he finished the roof. When you look at my house verse my neighbors, everybody thinks my roof looks so much better. My neighbors had it done by a competitor and it sounded like the process was not so smooth. Gus even sent his crew back, at no cost, and put in a few rain diverters. It was done so fast I did not even know they had done the work. The customer service was just amazing. The crew was nice and they did a great job. The price was super competitive and he even sprayed in some installation when they did the roof. We have had workmen working on our roof before and that was not a good experience. I thought overall AJ Wells Roofing was very professional. The sales person was very professional as well. It took a little long, but AJ Wells Roofing was dealing with an insurance company, so that is understandable. I'm a building contractor, so I knew what I was looking for, and there were a couple of things I corrected them on about the roof, but they happily did it. If somebody didn't know what they were doing, that might have been an area of concern. Other than that, they crew that they had inside painting did a good job. The work that AJ Wells Roofing did was an insurance settlement. They were highly recommended by the adjuster, the company that was handling the claim. They had a business relationship, which is fine, because the job was done right. We saw them on the internet and we saw good things. They were professional and helped us choose the shingles before the job was done. I wasn't in town, but my wife told me they did the work in an hour and a half and were very clean. They inspected the property, put the property together, cleaned up, and made sure the old material was taken away. I had also seen other work they had done in the neighborhood. Reading about their reputation online was the most important thing. I take negative reviews with a grain of salt, but I honestly couldn't find anything negative about AJ Wells Roofing. I like the professionalism, and they explained everything to us in great detail. They gave us a lot of options and made suggestions we might want. If there was any other work we could help with, they said to let them know. The work done by AJ Wells Roofing was finished quickly. We were as pleased as possible! more
