Saved my whole family 12/7/2010

ADT's critical conditions system saved my family and house when my 6 year old son Micah tried to cook fries while I was taking a nap. The heat sensor triggered a fire alarm in the kitchen and a fire truck came in time to stop the fire from spreading. more

In today's society, rarely does a company provide outstanding service and put the customer first. Well, I would like to thank your representative Carlos Watson for demonstrating extraordinary customer service. I was truly dazzled by the whole experience. Mr. Watson did everything possible to assist me with obtaining the ADT equipment; I was especially impressed that it was no longer about who got the sale but the protection for my home. He demonstrated so much SOUL (service on unbelievable levels). Mr. Watson was wonderful to work with. I was delighted to be on the phone with someone whose knowledge, respect, and sense of humor made this ordeal much less challenging. I was so glad that he was easy to understand and that he was able to explain what caused the problems with the installation and the reason why I could not purchase from Gaylord Securities. Thank you for hiring people like Mr. Watson and having them available to help your customers. He has truly created a fan. more

Safe and great CSR 11/24/2010

I never felt safe this way. It was only last month that I called them and I am very secure in my place. whenever i have problems, their CSR is really fast in attending my needs. more

I've been with ADT Security for almost 4 years.\r My experience with this security company is somewhat good.\r Good in the sense that the system is protecting me and my family.\r The only problem I have with this system is that it sometimes gives false alarms. And the sound is annoying to my hear. more

bad business people 11/4/2010

Great monitoring people, but business people, Lord Help Us! I found out today, after almost four months of simply trying to get my mailing address correct on my new primary residence that they have disconnected my monitoring at my vacation home, due to not paying my bill. I tried very hard to help them understand the bill is paid through my credit card and has been for the past 10 years. They said they have been mailing me notices about the problem and trying to call me. I finally figured out they were mailing and calling to my vacation home which does not have mail service and no one lives there to answer the phone! After 10 years they still can't get this figured out! I told them mailing something to the physical address of my vacation home is like mailing a letter to Santa at the North Pole and wondering why he doesn't answer it! IT DOES NOT EXIST!! We moved our primary residence three months ago and signed up for ADT again. I now get solicitation calls from them asking if we want to sign up. Unbelievable. If I had not just spent hundreds of dollars having them install new stuff, I would drop them like a hot potato. more

bad experience 11/2/2010

Customer Service is TERRIBLE. I had a ""first call"" appointment scheduled from 8:00 - 9:00 am today. At 9:00 am I called ADT to find out why the technician had not shown up on time just to discover that they double booked thier ""first call"" appointments. No, first call appointments mean that you are the FIRST appointment for that day. I took off work (my work day starts at 6:30 am) to wait for the 8:00 am appointment. Its 10:17 am and no one has shown up yet. Thats 1/2 day of time off and is unacceptable. Oh, and the best part, they still want to charge me the $25 service charge fee for the technician to come to my house 3 hours late. What choice do I have but to pay it? Well, come 4 more months I will have a choice, to not continue service with ADT and I will go with the different service company. more

Dealing with the Corporate Office 10/29/2010

When you deal with the corp office its a far better experience. I so far have had nothing but positive time with ADT. They have been there when i needed them. \r more
