ADT

I saw my friend having 2 security cameras outside and in her house. She told me the advantages of having it so I called ADT the next day. They gave me a fair price for it so I decided to sign the contract. I admire the outcome and I like how I can watch my kids play outside while I am inside the house doing my job. After watching the news about all the different mom and pop alarm company's in town here the obvious choice for me was ADT. Alot of these alarm company's didn't even have a license to sell alarms. That was disturbing. Also alot of them are using out dated equipment. ADT has been doing this for over 130 years so I think they know what they are doing by now. If you look at the type of equipment compared to all the other alarm companys it's apple and oranges. ADT's service techs are 24hrs which really helps when I need someone on a Sunday, I would never get that from another alarm company. They also monitor over 200 airports, many goverment institutes including the Federal Marshals and has recently made a deal with ALL federal judges (most judges make good decisions that's what they get paid for). I don't work for ADT, I just do alot of research and not look at a few bad instances in which some are waaaay out there. I have been a customer for over 10 years and when it comes to protecting my family I only want the best and nothing more, they are #1 for a reason. more

I have been paying monthly direct debits for full monitoring and maintainence cover of ?21.95 for the last year and a half and i have still not had the system connected to the phone line yet. I have also given up trying to get my money back from them as i've been paying for a service that i'm not recieving because, well they just ignored me. But the final straw was this morning when i called about having the batteries changed on my alarm key pad. more

I'm glad I got ADT alarms installed in our home. Now I feel safer knowing our lives are protected, and so does our house. If you call ADT, they can provide you with options that will perfectly suite your budget. I would highly recommend you to go for ADT. more

Having a home security system is a must when it comes to owning a house. I am living alone, no kids, no husband, nothing. The reason why I called up ADT Security was because my friend told me that this company is good. So, I called them up. Yesterday, my system was installed successfully and no problems so far. I like the remote keychain. I hope it doesn't get lost. :) more

I signed a three year contract on 4/27/2010, for home security. I was told for the security system to be installed into my house I need to pay $504, which I wrote them a check for, but would get $250 back as a mail in rebate. I asked my sales rep if I needed to fill out the paperwork and send it in. He told me no that he would take care of it and I would get my rebate in about 6-8 weeks. About the end of July when I had not received anything I started calling about it. My sales rep at first would tell me he was looking into it, eventually stopped taking my calls. After many phone calls and many messages I finally filed a complaint with the better business bureau. After I filed the complaint I was contacted by customer relations and was told my rebate would be to me within 4 weeks. Towards the end of Sept. I got a check for $150. Again I have tried calling several times and have left several messages trying to find out why I only got $150 and not the $250 I was promised and no one will call me back. more
