Plumbing Service 7/16/2013

Mike Garritano recommended what work should be done to correct poor draining in our tub. After reviewing what was suggested and having Mike show me and explain what was needed to correct the problem we decided to have the work done. Mike will come back next week to complete the job. Satisfied with his suggestion and approach. more

Clogged Toilet 7/2/2013

I had an excellent experience with ABC Plumbing. My toilet was clogged in a two bedroom, one bathroom condo while my parents were visiting (3 people, o toilet - a recipe for disaster). Needless to say it was an emergency to me. ABC Plumbing was the only company that got back to me in a reasonable time, offered to come out right away but recommended waiting if at all possible to reduce the cost (1 other place quoted coming out in 3 days). Jason S. came the next morning. Not only was he professional, courteous and knowledgeable but easy on the eyes (ha, ha). He did a great job clearing the clog and spent a lot of time making sure there would be no future problems with the toilet. He was very reassuring as I was concerned about the small pipes in our building. All in all, the experience was great and I definitely plan to use them again. more

ABC plumbing - Mike G 6/12/2013

Mike G and his helper Fred were great. Fast response (same day) and professional, courteous installation of a new water heater. Mike explained everything to me upfront and there was no surprise with pricing. Everything was clean when they left. I would say that ABC is on the higher end of cost, but well worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. more

Heating and cooling system check. 6/4/2013

Mike is a very professional service specialist. He did very god job today. He checked all heating and cooling system inside and outside of my house. He explained our current system problems, told me how to improve the efficiency of our heating ad cooling system and answered all questions from me. I very appreciate his service. more

Eric has been maintaining our HVAC system almost from the day it was installed. I would not trust anyone else with it. He is knowledgeable about how the system works and knows how to troubleshoot any problems. He is efficient at what he does, but takes the time to explain anything we need to know. more

ABC scores again 3/5/2013

ABC Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric has been solving problems in our home for many years, and yesterday was no different. Plumber Jason S. arrived around 1:30 in the afternoon to assess a malfunctioning water heater. When I requested a new water heater be installed the same day, he arranged for all the new equipment to be delivered to our home and got right to work. After several hours of work, including a trip to Home Depot for a missing part, he finished the job only to find that the new water heater was defective and was leaking. I'm not sure which of one us was more dismayed! Although it was after hours and his warehouse was closed, he tracked down a colleague with a right water heater on his truck and arranged to have it brought from Hoffman Estates to my home in Vernon Hills where he completed the installation around 10 pm. Throughout the 8+ hours in my home, he was unfailingly courteous and professional, and I appreciated his willingness to resolve the problem immediately despite having to stay on the job long after he would have expected to call it a day. I have always found ABC's particular strength to be its knowledgeable, service-minded people and Jason S. is a great example. more

Heating 2/22/2013

My humidifier wasn't working and I called ABC Plumbing and was scheduled for a repair the first day I had available. The technician Chris J was on time and polite explaining everything to me regarding my options and what was needed to repair my humidifier. I am very pleased with ABC Plumbing and their service. more

Sump Pump Repair 9/5/2012

I was very concerned when my pump decided to hum, as if the motor was burning out. I unplugged it and called ABC. They came out the next day. I was sure I would need a new pump. Most companies I use in the past state they do not fix pumps just replace. Mike was able to find the problem and I have a running pump. He was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Thanks Mike!!! more
