It was the one and only time I used A-1 Chimney and Service, and they had very good professionalism. They educated me on what the process was. For example, I didn't know that there were backup vents to dryers, especially if you live in a two story house. They are supposed to vent out of the wall so the debris and exhaust can dissipate outside. When this house was built they didn't do that. It was a wonder that I didn't have more problems, or even a fire, over the 14 years I've had this house. They did me a great favor, and I would certainly recommend them. more

Justin just saved me from buying a new dryer! 9/27/2011

Thanks so much for the incredible dryer vent cleaning. I was ready to go out and buy a new dryer as it was taking 2 1/2 hours to dry towels! But now that the dryer vent is cleared out, my drying time was reduced by 70. That should make a HUGE difference on my PG&E bill and my own time! Great job! We can't wait to try you out on our windows! more

Dryer vents clear! 9/27/2011

Justin was awesome. He arrived in the exact center of the 7-9am estimate and got right to work. I showed him the dryer location so he could set up his vacuum and he was on the roof, sweeping the lint out. We'll be calling the next time we need the vent cleaned. more

Excellent Service 9/8/2011

Being fairly new to Sacramento I did not know who to call to clean our gutters. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism not to mention the great job of the two guys sent to our house. Our gutters were extremely full and when I returned home from work there wasn't a sign they had been there except for clean gutters. Our walkways & patio were cleaner then before they arrived. I have already recommended them to friends! Thanks for the great job, Kathy & Alan more

Outstanding Service 9/8/2011

This is the 2nd year A-1 has done my windows. They are professional and are here when they say they will be. I have had other companies over the years, and have not had the level of satisfaction that I have with A-1. I highly recommend them, and am planning on having them do my gutters this fall. more

I spent most of my career in customer service management, and I feel I have a good understanding of the concept of excellent customer service. Our service experience with Justin was absolutely perfect. He was prompt, friendly, polite, and technically very skilled. Our problem was solved very quickly, with a thorough explanation of what he found and how he corrected it. In any business, when your representative leaves the customer premises you want the customer to be thinking good thoughts about your company. That engenders repeat business and referrals. Justin accomplished this in spades! Bravo! more

A-1 Chimney and Service was here actually a little early, though I only live about a mile from the shop. They were very professional too. They had done some work for me before, so I was a repeat customer. This time they put the chimney cap on my chimney, and they did an excellent job. K. Machado more
