Fantastic experience 12/14/2011

A1 was able to get me a next day appointment which was a huge relief in comparison to a competitor who tried to booked me more than a month away. They showed up within the appointment time frame and were quick, efficient & very friendly with tips on how to use my fireplace best. I will definitely use again next year. more

Excellent service, professional and pleasant techs! 11/29/2011

I was very pleased with your service, and would definitely use A-1 again. We just bought our home last year, so it was just by searching the Yellowpages & web, that we found A-1 Chimney service. Mark was very nice on the phone, and the techs Erin & Alex were very professional and friendly. The only 'down' side was the price, but now I know that there are "specials" for about 1/2 the price in the summer months. more

The fireplace looks great and I'm glad we used A-1. We also got a quote for gutter cleaning and window cleaning. I know they would do quality work, however, the prices for both seemed a bit high to me. more

Great Service! 11/13/2011

I appreciate the service A-1 Chimney provided for us. They also educated us on additional services to save us money for combining them. We had them come to clean our chimney and didn't even know we should have our dryer vent cleaned. We thought our dryer was dying, it would take 3 to 4 times to dry one load and now after they cleaned it it only takes one cycle! Looking forward to the money we will save on our energy bill. They were very polite and easy to work with. We will use them again! more

I would have given them 5 stars if the company tweaked there operation a little bit like wearing disposable booties inside the house, it was great having tarps but must vacuum up after themselves,... 11/13/2011

They were two males about 20 years old. Very nice and willing to work hard. Professionally cleaned the windows. I thought cost of the job was very reasonable. more

George and his son get to know their customers so well, they call them by name and play with their pets. These men are so friendly, I look forward to their visit. My chimney is always clean and ready to use each year. My money is well-spent on this small family-owned business. more

Cleaned gutter and roof 11/10/2011

A1 cleaned the house gutters and roof. Used a leaf blower and left the roof and gutters completely clean. The roof and gutters were a mess because the house had two seasons of leaves etc. The house had been on the market for over a year. I would recommend highly. more

Justin was professional and quick. I will probably use this service again for my rain gutters. A bit expensive, but I did check with other agencys and unfortunately it seems to be the average rate for these types of services. more

AMAZING Service!!! 11/5/2011

I was having trouble with my fireplace and called A-1 Chimney. Leon was AMAZING! The fix for the fireplace was simple, but he made sure that he checked everything thoroughly! Even though it was a simple fix and he could have just left, he didn't. He cleaned out the blowers, went on to inspect the rest of the unit and ventilation. He also did my gutters. Something as a new homeowner I hadn't thought about. I feel that it saved me some costly repairs in the future! I would highly recommend A1 Chimney Service and Thank you Leon for all your help today!! more

Chimney inspection and cleaning 10/31/2011

Inspection/cleaning done on fireplace with gas logs at a vacant rental. When we showed up to the home the tech had the ladder up against the front of the home and was ready to climb up on the tile roof!!! Luckily we showed up when we did and asked him to move the ladder to the rear of the house where the fireplace was so he didn't walk on the tiles which ALWAYS RESULTS IN CRACKED TILES. He was in and out in 15-20 minutes and did not make a mess in the house. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. more

The service person, Justin, was very nice and knowledgable, and patient with my many questions about the cleaning task, how often I should clean it, and so forth. Amazing how much gunk builds up in a chimney over a few years! I will follow his advice and do the cleaning every couple years. Kudos and thanks. more

When I called up A-1 Chimney and Service to ask some questions, the person whom I spoke to was very thorough and was really able to make me understand what he was talking about relating to my chimney. When the guy came out for the service call, he was great, so I was very pleased with the service overall, and that's why I would definitely recommend them. more
