A C's used to be a somewhat seedy little bar near the corner of King and George streets in Charleston. Then, unfortunately, a fire broke out one night and completely gutted the building.
Like a phoenix, A C's rose from the ashes and re-emerged near the corner of King and Ann streets with a bigger, fancier, yet somehow so much cooler bar.
A C's is a place to go to socialize. It's become a very 'hip' place to be, and because of that it gets crowded almost every night, especially on the weekends (sometimes it's darn impossible to get a drink unless you have a pair of 36 C's).
Other than the crowd, A C's is definitely a really cool place to hang out. There's a seating area set right in front of the front window which provides an awesome view of one of Charleston's busiest streets.
The whole building has an ecclectic design that create a hybrid of a swanky martini bar and a rock and roll dive.
The drink prices are average (sometimes below average), with a $2 'Beer of the Month' ever month.
Overall, A C's is a place to see and be seen, have a few drinks without busting the bank, and chill out with some of the coolest bartenders ever.
