A Better Way Home Care

I would never recommend this company!!! I haven't ever wrote a negative review before but a friend of mine asked me about this company for his dad. I couldn't stand the idea of any family using this agency or any caregiver working for this company. I should have done this back in August when the trouble started. I experienced first hand with my parents what jmlynch1961 went through. The lack of scheduled nursing care for my parents is the worst I have encountered, anytime you called the office for updates there was never a nurse around, and for weeks our family asked for the nurse in charge and we were always given the run around. Until we found out from the caregivers that they didn't have one. The caregivers were nice and helpful (its the only decent thing I can say about this company), but talked poorly of the owner and never being paid on time or at all! It made myself as well as my parents feel bad for them. It all finally took its toll on them too, most of them quit to find paying employment! Who could blame them!!!! If you care about your loved ones find another company.... more

I LOVE A Better Way Home Care the nurses, caregivers and office staff are very helpful. we have been clients on and off for the past 7 years. I would recommend anyone to A Better Way Home Care. They are the best company we have ever had. more

I am a client of A Better Way Home Care since 2009. I have been nothing but happy with the services. I recieve private duty services they take me to and from doctor apptments and shopping. When I have needed medical attention at home I could not ask for better care they are reliable and caring. I would recommend them to anyone in need of services. more

If your office can't be run efficiently then you are not hiring the best people for the job...Called on Thurs and spoke to Barbie. She was going to call on Friday to get the ok from my Mom's Doc. Didn't hear from her on Friday and I called today and she said the nurse they were going to use hurt her back. If I had ESP i would have known. She then said they were dealing with the State. Sounds like a real issue. If you care about your family members call someone else. Barbie made the mistake so she didn't really care when I said I would call someone else. more

I can not say enough about A Better Way Home Care. The staff is very caring and informative. I had used home health services before for my father and they did not measure up to the results with A Better Way. Pros: great communication , staff very knowledgable ,24/7 help more
