I write this letter to congratulate you on having two of the most courteous and professional movers on your staff. Today, Bob and John spent seven hours moving heavy, complicated desks and other furniture items between our first and second floor offices here in Rancho Cordova. Bob and John were highly skilled and very careful with our new furniture. They were also very polite and friendly and they made the moving process as stress-free as possible. Because Bob and John were so competent, I was able to concentrate on my job today, instead of worrying about the move and all the things that could potentially go wrong. Thank you! more

In April, my husband and I contracted with A Better Moving & Storage Co to move our belongings from Sacramento, California to Valencia, Spain. They were recommended by a close friend who recently moved to West Africa. We had a lot of valuable antiques, old grandfather clock, and small furniture to be shipped overseas. more

Moving creates lots of stress and anxiety. The crew that moved us were so upbeat, courteous and professional, I only started to relax after they arrived. I was not the ""easiest"" customer if you know what I mean...I had lots of questions and was concerned about ""my stuff"" and the cost. They understood me! Although the job was much larger than the original estimate, and I requested a last minute drop off of some furniture at a different location, Kyle was able to keep things running well and moved us in a single day! Everyone was professional and fun to be around. My belongings were put exactly where we asked and nothing was damaged. In fact, this is by far the best move I have every experienced. As as ex-IBM executive with over seven cross-country moves, that is saying alot. Congratulations on having great people and thank you. more

Needed a local moving company to help move my elderly in-laws out of their house of 35 years. They were moving into a mobile home park. The two drivers/workers were nothing less than helpful, friendly and very professional. Showed up on time, price was exactly what was quoted and handled all antiques with care. Besides by mother-in-law can be very fussy when it comes to her belongings but A Better Moving did a great job in handling her concerns. I would recommend them to anyone and loved the fact they are located right in the heart of downtown Carmichael. Nice to know a small local moving company is right next door for all your mailing needs as well. more

A Better Moving & Storage has been a life saver for me! In 2008, I had several deaths in my family. My mother, my Aunt, who lived in Bakersfield, and then my husband. I was the trustee for three estates in 2008, and my life had taken a major turn with the sudden death of my husband. I called A Better Moving & Storage and explained my situation and they did the impossible! They met me in Bakersfield, Ca. that saturday, and moved my Aunt's home. Everything had to be packed and shipped. (dishes, china, cyrstal, funiture, even the door mat.) On Sunday morning it was delivered to Elk Grove. """"I did not miss one day of work!"""" The mover's were wonderful, very polite and considerent. There was not one item broken, or any furniture damaged. The price for this long distance move was very reasonable! more

Your employees were exceptional and we really appreciated their hard work. Jason and Alex showed up at our home on time and worked very hard. There was no damage to the furniture, & the walls or floors on either end of the journey. The packer organizing the truck in Rocklin must have been working with puzzles from birth. All were great. I felt obligated to write this after witnessing your crew's professionalism. Not only did the move go smoothly but not one of your crew complained when the branch manager changed her mind on several items that needed to be reloaded onto your truck. Your employees were hard working, courteous, and respectful. Not once did I see someone standing around nor did I get any ""attitude"" from your crew. They seemed to honestly care about what they were doing, which I find to be a rare trait in the moving industry. The crew on Saturday was especially helpful and got the job done in a timely fashion. I also was pleased to see that the estimate for the move turned out to actually be what your estimator said it was going to be. I received compliments for how well the move went, and I couldn't have done it without your employees. They should be commended for their efficiency and hard work. My wife and I recently retained your company's services for a residential move on Saturday. Your employees, Brandon and Robert, did a commendable job on my move; I highly recommend your company to others seeking a professional moving company. I was first greeted by Brandon and Robert at my old residence on time, and in a polite manner, as I ran a few minutes late myself. As they began the loading process, they were etremely careful of my personal belongings and attentive to preventing any damage to my furniture or the residential unit. Brandon strategically loaded the truck in such a way that none of my items were scratched or damaged. In addition, Robert was extremely courteous and pleasant as he moved boxes and other items -- his demeanor was quite exceptional. Without any complaints or skepticism, both Brandon and Robert were accommodating to our needs (i.e, taking plants in the truck!) The unloading process was as easy, if not easier, than the loading process. The truck was unloaded carefully and my belongings were brought into my home again, without damage. Brandon and Robert assisted us by placing items in the correct locations of the house, making it easier and pain-free for my wife and I to set-up our new home. Again, I would like to thank you, Brandon and Robert for your assistance. Thanks to your courteous and professional service, my wife and I had a remarkably easy and care-free moving experience! I have used Better Moving Company three times in the past 5 years. Each move was as good as you can get. Because I trust them, it has helped lessen the stress of moving knowing I can call them when needed. The first two moves, Better Moving helped us move both by mother and mother-in-law into smaller homes. They were careful in packing and moving and nothing was lost or broken. Both of my mom's were very happy. My last move was more complicated because they had to pick up items from a storage unit and also move items from my former home to my new home. Steve, the manager and Sigrid, one of the owners, helped set things up and both were great about arranging everything to be the most cost efficient for us. The great crew also made sure all our furniture and boxes were moved into the appropriate rooms and would move them a second time if needed. Again, nothing broken and this third move was a big one! Every move cost just what they estimated. Overall great customer service, very professional, fast and hard-working movers. more

Better Moving Company is top notch! I have used A Better Moving Company 3 times in the last 4 years. I am not talking small moves either. I am talking 2 days, 2 truck loads and some very heavy furniture, not always in the greatest circumstances. Steve the Manager always let me know in advance the approximate price which was very accurate and fair. What a Character ! The Job Manager Kyle always took the time to make sure my furniture was protected and moved safely. I sure am not a fan of moving, but A Better Moving Company will always have my business and my referrals. On another note Steve the manager new I had just went through a rough time, moved around Christmas with my 2 kids. On his own time he was so thoughtful to get me a Christmas tree when he was in Apple Hill and leave it on my porch. talk about going above and beyond. I Highly recommend A Better Moving Company!
