I am so tired of being ripped off by creeps like this. I brought in my $800 spanish watch for a new battery. I was told that it did not need a battery but a cleaning for $60. I said fine. He required that I pay up front. okay. I am told I would get a call in less than a week. 12 days later I get the call and go up there. I have some vision problems and brought the wrong receipt. First he claimed that I never brought in a watch. When I said I would contact the attorney general he suddenly found it and demanded $60. I told him I already paid and he said prove it and then started calling me names in Yiddish like goniff, schmuck, and in English he said he would never be as stupid as me. I said I was going for a cop and began to leave the store. He yelled that I forgot my folding umbrella, and through it at me hard hitting my arm and scraming at the top of his lungs to get out of his store or else and he started running toward me like a crazy person. He has me over a barrel and I will probably have to lose the $60 or my watch. This guy is crazy, violent and a crook. DO NO USE THIS STORE. more

I was told on Tuesday that my ring would be ready on Thursday (yesterday). I went to pick it up today and was told that it ""wasn't ready"" and could I come back to pick it up later. I explained that it's not easy for me to get there with my 2 kids and he offered to hand-deliver it tonight. until he made a phone call. Then he said it would be Sunday because they aren't open tomorrow. When he realised I wasn't leaving without more information, he said it needed to be ""polished"" and was in Manhattan for this purpose. I told him I would have taken it elsewhere if I had known it would be taken off the premises. When I asked why it had to be ""polished"" elsewhere, he said it's because the machines are very big. The reason for the visit was that 3 of the prongs holding in the diamond on my engagement ring were thinning and he was going to rebuild them. I am extremely suspicious and dissatisfied. Beware. more

Did fine job converting pin to pendant, but lost a gemstone and didn't even notice it. Did replace the gemstone when I pointed it out. Also lost a watch crystal when cleaning my watch, and that had to be replaced, also. Some of my pieces were returned scratched or scuffed. Would not use again. more
