I was told on Tuesday that my ring would be ready on Thursday (yesterday). I went to pick it up today and was told that it ""wasn't ready"" and could I come back to pick it up later. I explained that it's not easy for me to get there with my 2 kids and he offered to hand-deliver it tonight. until he made a phone call. Then he said it would be Sunday because they aren't open tomorrow. When he realised I wasn't leaving without more information, he said it needed to be ""polished"" and was in Manhattan for this purpose. I told him I would have taken it elsewhere if I had known it would be taken off the premises. When I asked why it had to be ""polished"" elsewhere, he said it's because the machines are very big. The reason for the visit was that 3 of the prongs holding in the diamond on my engagement ring were thinning and he was going to rebuild them. I am extremely suspicious and dissatisfied. Beware.
