i call jerry (bidwell home improvement) to have my house sided and all the windows replaced back in 1996. Jerry told me it would be about 30 days before they could start work, it took them 60 days before i got pissed off about no call back about when they would start the job. One day they showed up and started to work, thanks for the warning. The company he sub contracted to install the windows seem they had no idea how to install them. the front door i ordered was wrong, the picture window has a big blemish at the top, the windows do not open any more, if i get them open it takes 2 people to lock the. When i call 3 times i finally got a talk to a person and he would have jerry call me back, a whole week went by and no call back. i called again and finally got jerry and he came out to see the problems with the windows, i told him there's cold air coming in around them, and they don't open right. His answer was the house is settling. it's a 45 year old home. he told me that i would have to live with what i have.. NICE BUSINESS ANSWER.. Warning beware of BIDWELL HOME IMPROVEMENTS. P.S. I had Lowe's come out and give me an estimate, they have installed new windows and told me the windows and siding was installed in an unprofessional manner. Great guarantee Jerry more

I just recently called about getting my roof fixed because we are experiencing a small leak. The person I was speaking with very candidly said, ""I feel awful telling you this but we will probably not be able to help you for at least 2 weeks."" Then that person recommended another local company we should call for the fix. They recognized roof leaks are not something to take lightly. Instead of trying to get the business and provide an unrealistic expectation, they simply referred me elsewhere. That shows they took my situation and my needs into consideration, while also taking into the consideration the needs of their current customers. A++ well done. more

I had thought that with all these great reviews that they would have done a better job, 1st they did't call back with job start date for a month, then the crews destroyed our mailboxes (mine and neighbors) backing in our driveway, (thay blamed it on the delivery truck, but the neighbors told me otherwise)\r Then they left without finishing the roof, and left my aluminum facia all beat up, I had to call the BBB to get it fixed/completed, they then finished the roof, but used gray roofing material on that section, when the rest was brown, I am done with these people, I do not recommend them at all Pros: ???? After reading the previous reviews, I thought Bidwell looked like a great company do deal with, but I was dissapointed when I met them. I would think a substantial roof job should take some time with a more accurate written estimate. This wasn't what I expected. Maybe they had a bad day. Cons: very hurried more

We selected Bidwell even though they were our most expensive bid. It was money well spent. They replaced our siding, gutters and front door. Their workers showed up on time, were courteous, and did quality work. The one time we were not 100 % satisified the situation was addressed quickly, professionally, and better than we could have expected. We do a lot of work ourselves because we like to know it is done right. I would use Bidwell again as I know they did it right too!\r P.S. Bidwell provided outstanding service! We replaced 2 roofs and 24 home windows. Workers were timely, pleasant and professional. Prices were fair and reasonable. All debris was removed as promised. Results of the work were fantastic. We are very satisfied with the outcome. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Bidwell and would use them again.
