2510 Restaurant

We have been going to 2510 Restaurant for years and we will absolutely continue dining there. I could not think of a thing they could improve-don't fix it if it's not broken! They do everything right! Great service, food quality, and all around atmosphere! Would recommend it to EVERYONE! more

On 2/17/12 we were traveling through Wausau on the way to visit our daughter who is a student at LeCordonBlue in Eagan, MN.\r \r It was a little before 1pm and the restuarant was not very busy. The 5 of us were seated promptly. Our order was taken, beverages brought. We thought all was well. After about an hour we started noticing that tables that were seated after us were already leaving and we still didn't have our food. That the tables all around us had a basket of dinner rolls, but we didn't, even though we had ordered fish fry, fried shrimp and 2 filet mignon. When we inquired with our server Nicole, she practically screamed at us, stating indignatly that ""rolls are by request ONLY"". Since we are not ""locals' how are we supposed to know this?\r \r The reason given as to why this lunch took more than 1-1/2 hours from start to finsh was that the steak was ordered ""well done"" and that's how long it takes...\r \r When the cashier asked ""how was everything"" I told her how unhappy we were with the service, and that I'm going to do a review. The cashier mocked me and sarcastically said ""Oh- I am SO afraid"". I told her Social Media is very powerful and we left. So you decide- We will never come back. more

When we go out for dinner, this is where we go. Never disappointed. Beautiful atmosphere, great service and terrific food. There bakery items are the best. Head for the Deli and take home some fresh bread, cookies, bars and their very well known chocolate celebration cake beautifully decorated for any occasion. Mmmm good. more

2510 is basically the staple restaurant of the locals in Wausau. I have never been disappointed with the service or the food, but I've also never been blown away by it. The restaurant part that is...the deli is a different story. \r \r What a lot of people don't know (especially those who may be just visiting) is that the deli/bakery section of 2510 is a completely different experience than the restaurant. It is where my wife and I usually eat if we go there. They have daily specials ranging from a hearty potpie to open face tuna melts, and they also have a great nutty chicken sandwich and daily baked chicken. What stands out for the deli portion of 2510 however, is the great friday fish fry. The traditional fish fry is deliciously seasoned and lightly breaded, and all fish comes with cole slaw, bread, a choice of potato (of which the ranch fries are my favorite) and a dessert that you choose from the vast array of baked goods that are made daily. You WILL leave happy and with a full stomach. more

2510 has been in Wausau for over 25 years. The food is very good, their appetizers are fantastic, and their homemade bloody mary's are out of this world! Pros: Awesome food, appetizers and drinks Cons: A bit pricey more

the ribs were GREAT!! fall off the bone ribs. service was wonderful, you dont find that many places any more. the birthday program is killer to i havent found any where you get yoour age as you discount.,cake and spin the birthday wheel. i love it there! more

This restaurant makes you feel at home and personally served efficiently. It has a menu that offers many meals that are not found at other eateries. My favorite is lobster: it is tasty, just the right amount of food and the price is right. If you love lobster, this is an offer you cannot refuse. This is one place that would instruct wait-persons for other area restaurants......but it seems that the ones who serve here, serve best.
