go to PRNor MSN 11/21/2007

THe one lady had a bullying attitude. It was her way and that was that she let you know it. If a facility cancelled you Friday evening for Saturday morning they wouldnt tell you till (expect a phone call at 4:30 am) the next day. I thought that was rotten other agencys will call and tell you right away. There checks they mail out always get there late. Mine was sitting at the office for two days when it should have been here. One place I was contracted at for 2 years through PRN, STAT took over and within 2 weeks she started cancelling our hours and putting in her own staff. (One guys been there 16 years) His wife was 2 weeks away from having a baby, she pulled his hours. And she took me off the schedule completely at that place, Telling me she would get me hours elsewhere.Even though the facility itself wanted me there. She told me it was not there decision it was hers she does the scheduling.(Although stat is the client for them) I told her there is no way I would work for her. She is after the other nurses to, to get the former PRN employees out of there ( although we all had to go apply at stat and become stat employees) Everyone was upset when I left and noone was happy. Its a terrible place to be employeed at. Even her own employees werent happy. There was some sneaky, low down things going on. For me its onto bigger and better things. more

worst place to ever work at go somewhere else 11/20/2007

I applied at Stat and from the beginning it was unprofessional, the main lady there gripped about PRN throughout the whole interview. She put me on hours only to have me added as an "extra" 3 days out of the week. She had 2 nurses scheduled at one site, she did it not the agency, then she would call and cancel us. When I called about my check being late she called me back and told me " To read my handbook that I was orientated for 2 hours and if I dont have the ability to read that was my problem" Yes that is how she treated me and other workers. If you are cancelled Friday night for Saturday morning they dont let you know till 2 hours before your shift you are cancelled ever. "This is why you are agency nurses this is how it works and how we operate I was told" " If you cant make plans then to bad thats how it goes" she tells me. I have talked to her other Nurses and aides and they had nothing nice to say about her. There is definately bullying going on there. I will stay at PRN they are so nice and fair about things. more
