JP Licks is a great place, in an old firehouse on Center st. in JP. Good ice cream (but not as good as Toscanini's), with a large variety, including yogurt and soft serve Carvelish stuff. Baked goods in the morning, most of them range from okay to good. Bagels imported from H&H in NYC. Lots of coffee, most of it quite good as well.
Fun atmosphere. Diverse group of people. Art for sale on walls. Patio during summer. Great place to meet.
