Review content:
I called American Empire Garage Door Repair when my door would only go up about a foot. Ed, the owner, answered the phone immediately at 6:00 A.M. and I told him about my problem. He stated that one of the springs had probably broken and told me exactly what to do to get the door open. I made arrangements with Ed to meet him during my lunch hour to replace both springs. He installed upgraded springs at no extra charge and even lubed all of rollers and hinges because the door was squeeking very badly. Ed was vert friendly and even showed me how to tell if the right springs are installed on the door. (The door should stop half way in the middle without falling down or flying up). I asked Ed for many business cards so I can refer him to my friends and neighbors.
