Businiess name:  Blu Salon

Review content:
I have been following Melina around for 15 years and was so happy for her when she opened her own salon more than 10 years ago. Like the top NYC salons, it has style and professionalism that is super contemporary while honoring the classic styles when appropriate for her clients. She started out rather small and then grew and grew, while adding both space and services. The nail salon has expanded and services such as massage therapies and spray tanning are offered and are well done. I have used all the services and continue to use them when I can. The basic cutting and color are exceptionally well done. Unlike the NYC salons, there is NO ATTITUDE. I can't tell you how often I have spent oodles of $ in places in both NY and NJ that made me feel like the salon is doing me a favor to accept me as a client. NOT at Blu. Finally, hats off to Melina, Jeff, Leesha, Eve, Sonia, Albert...and the countless others there who make each visit a relaxing and rewarding experience. Oh yeah: and let's not foget Melina's committment to developing her young assistants so they have a chance to thrive and grow into fully capable operators. I have this happen in a dozen young people there.
