Review content:
Ijams is close to downtown yet peaceful and serene. This is a great place for a short day hike or just a casual outdoor stroll. There is a nice facility with nature and science information and it is extremely kid friendly. There is plenty of parking and several well maintained trails to choose from. Be sure to stop by the visitors center and get all the trail information before beginning especially if you have a disability or health concern. The hikes are fairly easy, but trails can be slick if it has recently rained. Ijams is also a great place for a party or other special event. Free.
