Review content:
They cannot be trusted! Bought an A/C and without telling me they installed a no name split system heat pump-A/C unit instead. After the unit was installed and they gave me the installation manual is when I was first made aware of this. "We didn't have the unit you bought in stock but don't worry," they told me, "it is a much better unit than what you paid for and we didn't connect the heat pump". I had an uneasy feeling because of the lack of being told in advance but went along with it because it was already installed. I'm sure that is why they handle it that way. That has turned out to be, at best, misinformation, and at worst an outright lie. Now that the unit is out of the one year warranty the A/C no longer works. Guess what's broken? The switching system that directs whether heat or cold air comes into the house. The only temp it directs to the house is hot ! But the bill is on me to fix it. The only thing they offered is a $20.00 discount on the service call charge and they will deduct the service call charge from the repair cost if I have them repair the unit. Sounds like a trap for what could turn out to be an overpriced repair that more than compensates for the discount.
