Review content:
We visited this dealership years ago looking for a Ford Van. We found that the sales person we dealt with left a bit to be desired. We vowed to never go back. Unfortunately, we experienced some transmission problems with our Ford Van (we purchased one elsewhere). Hopkins was/is the closest dealership to us, we decided to give their service department a shot. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! Charged us $200 to look @ the transmission only to say they couldn't tell what was wrong and needed to "drop the pan" which would cost us another $200. This would have been $400 for them to LOOK to see what was wrong. We picked up the car and took it down the road to another transmission place. They were able to tell us exactly what was wrong (without charging us) and gave us options on fixing it. In the end, we are still going to be out a lot of money- but at least it is for actual work done on our car versus a mechanic just looking at it. The woman at the service desk was very condescending as well. Terrible experience. We were offered a 10% coupon (after we relayed our displeasure) for "future service," we gladly declined and explained we would never be back.
