"My husband and I found a stray cat and thought it might be pregnant. We were advised to take her into a vet. I called around and after hearing everything from "we're not taking any new clients" to "we can't see you until late next week" and were given APH's number. I called and the tech on the line said "yes, let's get you in today". I saw Dr. Vurk (sp?). She was very gentle and informative of our choices with what to do with the cat. We chose to get her spayed and adopt her out ourselves. Her surgery was later that day and I picked her up the following day. I was given copies of her record for the new owner and a list of instructions on how to monitor the incision from the spay. I'm happy to say that within 3 days, she found a home."
