Businiess name:  Brown's Fairfax Nissan

Review content:
Whatever you do, drive a few extra miles to avoid having your car serviced at Brown’s Nissan in Fairfax, VA. I brought in my classic Nissan 300ZX for service back in June of 2010 to have the odometer and tripometer replaced and here are the events that followed: • When they replaced the broken odometer, no one bothered to tell me that the new one would not be brought back to its original mileage (43k in my case). I now have a 1990 Z with ZERO miles. I only have a receipt to show people what the mileage should actually be, but it looks otherwise suspicious (odometer rollback), which might make the car difficult to sell in the future. • The fuel gauge no longer works! • The steering column was not put back together correctly • There was a gasket hanging out of the instrument cluster • The other instrument cluster was not properly aligned • There was a one inch scratch on the radio bezel • The car was left unlocked in their parking lot overnight • Had to take the car back 3 times to correct these issues and the fuel gauge still does not work at all • Had at least a dozen phone conversations with people promising to call me back with a resolution and they rarely ever called back. I had to stay on them constantly until I just had to give up. The service department promised to get me a new fuel gauge and replacement radio bezel. However, at the time of this writing, almost 5 months have passed and Brown’s Nissan has still not bothered to follow up on their mistakes. In addition to the fuel gauge, it now appears as though my oil pressure and temperature gauges are now on the fritz, only working intermittently. I don’t know if this is a result of whatever they did to my instrument cluster back in June but when I reported it to Brown’s, they never bothered to call back (big surprise). The low level of customer service at Brown’s, quite honestly, is unbelievable. I’ll have to bite the bullet on this one and take my Z to someplace else where their staff actually cares about the quality of their work. Needless
